I know a lot of people wanted him in the draft I don't know how well he has played but if he's shown flashes I would be fine with it for the right price and he's still young.  Ballard has been preaching youth, speed and depth.

  I believe Ballard was part of the Chiefs FO that brought in a player or two with issues and gave them a chance and it worked out well for them.  He seems open to at least checking those kind of players out.  My guess is he will at least make some calls.  We'll see.

I really have my doubts that Gaethers will be back.  I hope he really thinks it through.

Thing is, those players had character concerns, like Marcus Peters. There wasn't any question about their ability. Pryor just flat out sucks.

I'd at least kick the tires. Safety is a position of weakness on this team right now and I wouldn't be surprised if Geathers misses the entire season. I know he hasn't been great but he's got a ton of potential. He was a stud at UofL not to long ago.

I doubt there is anything there.  

 

Team's don't generally release players for fighting unless they are just terrible in the first place or they decided to pick a fight with the quarterback.  

 

If he was talented he wouldn't be released for fighting.
