That was the case early on last season too when we were 3-3-1 when the offense was somewhat respectable and then the wheels came off. We should give another RB a chance.

that 3-3-1 is the ugliest 3-3-1 i've ever watched

Story of the game so far is OL generating very little push in the run game and it showed up even worse on that 4th & 1 conversion. Eagles can do it because their OL can generate that push. It is going to be a long season if this kind of push continues with a run oriented offense.

I have been hard on the Olne, but remember this. This Olne has been under a lot of pressure in the Reich years due to qb play. Its, the same story today. Teams r playing the run and will until Richardson can beat them with his arm. When that happens, lanes will open up big time.

Yeah, now pass protection is breaking down and lanes aren't opening up to throw mainly because they can crowd the line of scrimmage and no outside WR routes called or Jags made to pay. Remember, one of Matt Ryan's best games came with a lot of outside WRs catching the ball at home vs the Jags. Yeah, Steichen's trust in AR, right now, is a little bit blind at this point for a 4th down close to mid field, IMO. It is only heroic on paper.

The line looks good so far.  Jax have a good DL and they aren’t dominating

we look good passing wise. it's the running game where we aren't really winning. we are either getting little push, no push, or they are pushing us in the run game. all runs of gain have been edge runs (raimann, smith, TEs,) our interior is still struggling somewhat

Do you know Pierce averaged about 14.5 yards a catch last year?    As a rookie?

He had a very good rookie season and some here have no idea.

Yeah, i watched every game. It's the drops and mistakes that people are concerned about

specifically this preseason, and so far this game
