I enjoyed watching Archie Manning's On the Clock piece on Levis. Peyton and Eli were watching his film and liked his pocket presence.

Just wondering if you watched him a lot and are judging him with context?

Or just repeating the informed writers.

I've watch damn near every game online just because people have said the Colts might pick him. NFL is a different beast and if he plays like he played at Kentucky he won't be playing for long. His disregard of the big hit is scary. I don't know how they love his pocket presence when he gets sacked like crazy because it's bad.  And watch his decision making if the first read isn't there is bad also. And sorry I've said this before I don't trust Peyton Manning or Eli. Peyton still has ties with Denver and lives there too. Unless he works with the Colts I don't give two hoots what he thinks.

There is just something off with Richardson when I watch interviews. It’s hard to explain. I will support him if he is the pick but just doesn’t seem mature enough to handle what’s coming his way.

Take it easy on the kid. It's not like he's 23 almost 24 years old and puts mayo in his coffee and eats a banana with the skin on.

I'm listening to a local Bills radio show. They are bashing their GM Brandon Bean's draft picks picks. I guess we are not alone.

On the bright side - whatever QB the Colts select most likely will not have the rate of turnovers that Matt Ryan did.

That would be tough to do

With draft day today, I will plan to watch the movie "Draft Day" and also give my final decision on the QB that I'd like to draft for the Colts.

Action - Trade back to the Lions

Draft Pick - Draft Hendon Hooker

Reasons - I am just not confident in AR or Levis as I am when I see Hendon Hooker previous and potential play.  If CJ Stroud is at 4, I would maybe entertain it but final target would definitely be Hooker.  His ability to protect the ball, run, and throw within a system is gold that some don't seem to see or understand.  Of course there's the idea of taking the "best QB" but in reality, we just need an "able QB".  A competent one, who has the potential to excel.  Hooker is my QB for that vision.

Age does not matter to me if he'll give us 12+ years of good QB play.

Happy Draft Day folks!

nope, dont thinks all that either, but leagues way better then Richardson lol.

not.  that's why he's got all those sacks and picks because he's leagues better?

Why are his numbers so average?  And name me 1 dominant performance from

Levis against anybody worth talking about?

The difference is he got his most important pick right.... let see if Ballard can nail his.

I started watching guys’ interviews late, and this was one of the first things I saw from Levis off the field.

Got a huge eye roll from me. Not a big deal or anything, but seeing how he played up all his quirks like the mayo/banana peel stuff, seems like he’s pretty focused on his image/brand.

Is it that he’s not Levis lol

all kidding aside I’m just glad we don’t have to wait any longer to find out who it will be. I’ll support whoever like ya said and if they fail Arch manning will be coming to the nfl soon enough haha

That was an interesting interaction... And again... it's not really a red flag just some... weird stuff.

From what’s been posted Levis has spent time with Peyton and probably asked all the relevant questions then. My guess is it was just a bit of fun.

BTW, usually I don't really have mayo in my fridge but for the draft I decided to get some... so I'm fully prepared now - coffee so I don't fall asleep... jar of mayo and bananas.... just in case I need to celebrate a Levis pick :P

Gotta have Hellmann's.  What the hell else are you dipping your french fries in ?

Well as a Hoosier, it's gotta be nacho cheese sauce. Apparently we're the only state that dips our breadsticks and other carbs in nacho cheese. Go us!

Really strange if true. from CBSSports.

According to the rumor, Levis had been telling friends and family that the Panthers are going to be taking him with the top pick on Thursday night. The problem with the rumor, though, is that the Panther haven't actually told anyone what they're going to do with the top pick and we know that because Frank Reich shared that information on Wednesday.

During a pre-draft press conference, Reich was asked if the team had NOT yet informed the No. 1 overall pick that he's going to be the No. 1 overall pick. "That is correct," Reich said.

That rumor was from a couple of days ago and started by a reddit poster.  By all reports, it is a false.

Here's an update on the odds at the sportsbooks:

- pick 1 - Bryce Young -5000(FD), -2000(DK)... seems like a done deal. This would be one of the biggest upsets if he doesn't go no. 1.

- pick 2 - Will Anderson with a big move into the lead (-250 and -350)

- pick 3 - CJ Stroud is now in the lead. Relatively big move here too... seems like they expect a team to trade up to 3 for Stroud now - +125 on FD and -140 on DK

- pick 4!!! - Will Levis is still the favorite(+100 and + 120) with Anthony Richardson right behind him(+160 and +200)

Yeah that’s a little concerning. A question like that is something I would expect Joe Burrow or Josh Allen to be asking Peyton...y’know, experienced and proven quarterbacks who are just beginning to dip their toes into making money through advertising...that is not the question you should ask as an incoming rookie. Especially to Peyton, the guy who as soon as he was drafted ate, slept, and breathed Colts football 24/7 until he felt he had established himself as a legitimate QB in the league.

I saw this a few days ago. Here's my take on it.

Perhaps others already asked questions regarding leadership, daily life in the NFL and so on and everyone in the room got the answers they needed from those questions.

So Will decided to try and ask a different question. No point in asking the same question twice unless you need clarification.

Agreed. This is one of the knocks I have on Levis and would much rather have Richardson or Stroud. Levis I feel also has the worst decision making between the three.

    • A lot is going to depend on the health of the secondary. Not a fan of the defense playing 10 yards off the WR either.
    • Gus’s problem is that he rarely blitzes a qb and relies too much on the front 4 to put the pressure on the qb! Every qb has basically smoked a cigarette and taken a nap before a Colts defender can even breathe on them! Im not saying to blitz every play, just mix it up enough to get in the qbs head! Open gaps for lbs to get through, especially in the middle against slower pocket passing qbs. Gus has been around too long and will be too stubborn to change though!😒
    • Besides the Pacers shooting yesterday, what really stood out to me was they didn't wilt in the big moment of playing in a Game 7 at NY - that shows Mental toughness. Haliburton was playing like it was a just another regular season game and just doing his thing. Also, the Pacers weren't getting bullied inside, Turner and Pascal did the bullying for a change. They are finesse players that usually just care about scoring mostly but yesterday they were banging down low and played really aggressive.
    • Yeah, Cus Bradley yes I said Cus I'm not a fan of his scheme if you want to call it that. So it doesn't matter who we have in the secondary it won't help. We could bring back these players in their youth again like Dion Sanders and Darrel Green and it wouldn't matter in my mind. I don't know why we hold on to a DC who has been 28 in total defense for two years. Bring in a DC with an innovative smart scheme that would confuse offenses. But what we have now is a defense that a JR high team could figure out. So yes the defense is a huge concern. We are going to have out-score teams which means our offense can make very little mistakes.
    • Besides Shaq and Barkley, I forgot that Shannon Sharpe took the Pacers as well in this series. He is just rubbing it in towards Stephen A and Big Perk. He even said, come to Indy baby where they have a great team and great food, because NY is sitting at home now
