The Jaguars and Titans will be 7-9 teams. Colts and Texans will end up with 11 - 12 wins.

Agreed. Jax and Tenn haven’t been bad, but they look about average to me. Indy and HOU have actually beaten or gone toe to toe with the elite teams in the league.

Funny how these things go in cycles. Not that long ago, the AFC South was considered trash.

I also think it's stupid that Indy got moved to the AFC South. Colts should be AFC North!!!

I guess Cincy is a bit further South than Indy.    I don't think they wanted to lose the Cincy/Cleveland rivalry.

Or AFC East like they used to be back in the day.

South makes zero sense. Move Dolphins back to AFC South and Colts back to East.

That would make some sense.    But Miami is much further East.

Hey, at least it isn't like is was a few years ago:

Houston in the Central

Arizona in the East

Tampa in the Central

Atlanta, Carolina, St. Louis and New Orleans in the West

FWIW, if we're moving anybody, I say move the Pat's to the AFC N and push the Browns to the east.  Increase the parity.  No reason Pat's should still be in that mediocre division.....

This is what realignment should've looked like:

AFC

East:

New England

Buffalo

New York Jets

Baltimore- great new rivalries in North East

North:

Indianapolis- clearly proximity would creat great rivalries between fans

Cincinatti

Cleveland

Pittsburgh

South:

Tennessee

Miami

Jacksonville

Houston

West:

Kansas City

LA Chargers

Denver

Las Vegas

NFC:

East:

New York Giants

Washington

Philadelphia

Carolina

North:

Minnesota

Chicago

Detroit

Green Bay

South:

New Orleans

Tampa Bay

Dallas

Atlanta

West:

San Francisco

Seattle

Arizona

LA Rams

They obviously wanted to keep existing rivalries in place, but I think there would of been some new great rivalries.

Definitely agree on AFC.  Batimore to East, Miami to South, & Colts to North just makes sense.

So true. The NFC West is stacked now but 8-9 years ago they were the first division to have a playoff team with a losing record (7-9 Seahawks if memory serves).

FIrst things first this weekend we need to win. Second thing we need Jacksonville to beat the Texans in London. If those two things happen we have a two game lead in the division.

The Steelers play the Colts tough. They have not beaten them in their stadium since Week 10 2008.

All I will say is what Reich said today. He was going to bring that up today as motivation. He decided not to because the past is in the past.

Looks like Watsons eye is still bothering him today. We will see if that effects him Sunday.

The Steelers have a way better offense then the broncos.  Reich said today that they are going to try and get desirs hamstring back to 100%. We will see if he plays. If not I hope Moore is the one on JU JU. Not having Desir limits the defensive packages we can run.

People equate Indiana to hicks thus the move to the AFC South.  Lmbo

However, I agree with those who feel that the AFC North would be the proper geographical fit. They don’t belong in the AFC East anymore in my opinion.  Not since they left  Baltimore.  Move the Ravens to the East.

I agree, the East isn't where they should be.   Heck, Indiana should have went to Central time years ago.

That’s exactly how I envision it.  Cowboys fans would have a cow about moving out of the NFC East and losing their rivalries in that division.  Lol  But Cowboys/ Saints might make for an intriguing new divisional rivalry.

I love the renewed rivalries for the Colts though.  Colts/Steelers,  Colts/Browns both would have that old NFL, throwback feel.  Colts would definitely be toughened up facing Pittsburgh twice every season.

Caesars Sportsbook Odds Right now:

Win The Division:

Indy 11-10, Houston7-4, Jacksonville 9-2 Tennessee 10-1.

Win The SB:

Indy 22-1, Houston 40-1, Jacksonville 75-1 Tennessee 150-1

It's going to be an interesting 2nd half of the season.

Titans remaining schedule is brutal.

Top tier opponents - Colts, Texans (twice), Saints, Chiefs

Mid tier opponents - Panthers, Jaguars, Raiders

Jaguars remaining schedule is favorable.

Top tier opponents - Colts (twice), Texans

Mid tier opponents - Chargers, Titans, Raiders

Bottom feeders - Bucs, Falcons

Texans opponents

Top tier - Ravens, Patriots, Colts

Mid tier - Jaguars, Titans (twice)

Lower tier - Bucs, Broncos

Colts opponents

Top tier - Texans, Saints

Mid tier - Steelers, Titans, Panthers, Jags (twice)

Lower tier - Bucs, Dolphins

That’s what it was supposed to be but they didn’t want to break up “rivalries”

Our win over them was a must a couple of weeks ago, thankfully we got it. To me Houston is a solid football team, they nearly beat Brees and the Saints.

No doubt. Everyone was saying how good the jags looked for the last few weeks but it turns out they can’t beat good teams. This is why Foles will get his job back.

Watson grows better and better with time. Brady retires putting Watson in as the new thorn in the side of the Colts. If the Colts beat in Houston in Houston this season it will be a huge statement.

We already beat them once so to expect a sweep is reaching as they have a good team. Watson is good but Mahomes is clearly the best QB in the league when healthy along with Rodgers excluding Brady. I do not see Watson being a thorn in our side for years to come but that is my opinion. I do see both teams being very competitive vs one another though.
