  1. Of course it is relevant. Phillip Rivers, Jacoby Brissett and a quarterback drafted in the second round. They didn't sign Rivers to cut him, nor will they waste a second round pick on a quarterback they might cut when they could draft wide receiver, cornerback, or offensive lineman that would likely be a quality backup or possible stater. That leaves Brissett who has $12,500,00 in dead cap. I didn't even mention Chad Kelly who they brought up to the active roster late last year to keep him from being signed off the practice squad. Just because they can sign 90 quarterbacks doesn't mean they would.
  2. How many quarterbacks do you think the Colts will carry on the active roster and who are they? That will determine how may quarterbacks the Colts will sign or draft.
  3. Phillip Dorsett D'Joun Smith Henry Anderson Clayton Geathers David Parry Josh Robinson Amarlo Herrera Denzell Goode
  4. Common sense tells me that if 10 yards of separation was typical, the average yards of separation would not be about a yard and a half or less. You're cherry picking a situation and pretending like it happens all the time to prove your point. #fail The proper time to be open is when the ball arrives. Any earlier or any later just doesn't matter.
  5. Can't get any more proper time than that.
  6. Phillip Dorsett with Tom "The Greatest Quarterback of All-time" Brady as his quarterback vs Zach Pascal with Jacoby Brissett as his quarterback. Zack Pascal was undrafted free agent while Phillip Dorset was a first round pick of the Grigson-led Indianapolis Colts. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/play-index/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=1&player_id1_hint=Phillip+Dorsett&player_id1_select=Phillip+Dorsett&fromyear_1=2019&toyear_1=2019&player_id1=DorsPh00&idx=players&player_id2_hint=Zach+Pascal&player_id2_select=Zach+Pascal&fromyear_2=2019&toyear_2=2019&player_id2=PascZa00&idx=players
  7. Mr. Irsay's heart is in the right place, always has been, but it was his heart that keep the dumpster fire of Grigson and Pagano around way too long.
  8. Many of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time never won anything, including Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Warren Moon, and John Elway, until he got a running game, but I suspect you're not old enough to have seen any of them play, or you'd know better.
  9. The magic of Mahomes is not that he's mobile, but that he can accurately throw on the run. He will have an outstanding, but short career.
  10. Now I know you're not thinking clearly. Kaepernick was a mediocre quarterback who has been out of the league for a couple years, not to mention all the other baggage he brings with him.
  11. I'm trying to make sense of all the changes. I see Mike Groh is replacing Kevin Patullo as wide receivers coach because he was named the team's pass game specialist. Also, Tyler Boyles is replacing Parks Frazier as assistant to the head coach because he was promoted to offensive quality control coach. Brian Baker is replacing Mike Phair as defensive line coach because he left to take the same position for the Carolina Panthers. Did I miss anyone?
  12. 3 years? From where did you pull that number? the 49ers have been rebuilding for 5 years.
  13. Mack is averaging 4.4 yards per carry for 25th best average in the league behind a line that dominates in run blocking, wide receivers who block down field and a head coach who emphasizes the run. He's not an outstanding running back by any means.
  14. JB is hurt. And he should sit the remainder of the season to rest his knee, just like AV.
  15. The schedules are determined by a formula so there is no way the NFL could "give the Colts a soft ball [sic] pitch schedule next year to help them get a few wins and stay relevant in their market."
  16. Everyone is replaceable and everyone knows it, or should know it. If Jacoby does not think he's replaceable then he is fooling himself. The other players on the team should question a coach who is unwilling to see which quarterback gives their team the best chance to win.
  17. No team plans to lose their generational quarterback that they built their team around a couple weeks before the season starts. He might as well be considered "injured" in this context.
  18. Tyquan Lewis is still on his rookie contract for a couple more years and he will be here until that contact expires.
  19. A "true blue fan" roots for the team and not the player. This team is losing games due to a single player.
  20. How is this relevant to a thread named "Reich says Brissett will start, Adam Vinatieri will be the kicker moving forward"?
  21. Even the ones he is making are wobbly near misses. He's done.
