At Jags

At Texans

Cowboys

Giants

At Titans

-Jags are looking like a team that is tanking.

-Obviously the biggest game vs the texans if we want any chance to get the division. Texans play the browns which could be an upset.

-I think we lose to the cowboys. I just cant see us stopping Zeke and their looking really good on defense.

-Giants imo will be a close game, but if we force Eli to beat us, I think we can get the win. Interesting note, Eli has never beat us.

-Titans will be a cold physical game. Could be a must win whether its a playoff spot or the division.

I say 10-6 and a playoff spot. Even if we beat the texans, they have a much easier schedule.

I think we tend to do very well against big named running back. I do think Barkley and OBJ would pose more of a problem, no discredit towards Zeke but I am not a big Dak fan so I think we can take that one against the Cowboys. Also dont say the Titans game will be cold bc I'm gonna be at that game and I hate the cold lol. Also question for anyone who has been at Nissan Stadium, where do you like sitting/ in general when you go to games where do you like to sit? I still haven't got my ticket and trying to make that decision.

Lots can change in two weeks, so who knows about the cowboys game, but does Dallas have a better Defense than Jacksonville, Buffalo, and Tennessee? Teams we quite honestly picked apart. We’ll see.

Lets first beat Jacksonville and get to 7-5. I think this week Indy and Baltimore pull ahead and turn the final wildcard into a 2 horse race. Although keep an eye out for Denver. They play the reeling Bengals and with a win would pull into 6-6. I think Cincy and Miami are cooked, and Tennessee is hanging by a thread at this point.

Im slowly losing hope for the division. Texans just can’t lose and we’re running out of time to make 2 games. Hopefully Cleveland can make some magic, and turn that week 14 match 100 times more interesting.

I was hoping the Titans could steal one but I haven’t given up hope for the Division.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Browns upset the Texans.

Also, Philly has some hope for their Division and may have some secondary back by the Texans game in Philadelphia.

    I’m not afraid of Dallas.

All the games are winnable. None of the wins are guaranteed though and will be tough. The Giants and Cowboys both have a lethal WR/RB tandem. The Cowboys have an underrated defense as well.  Texans look even better than when we played them, so that will be a tough one. 9-7 is possible but 10-6 is achievable.

Don't lose hope for the division.  We just need Houston to lose 1 game.  Then we control our destiny.  They lose 1 & we win out and we get the division on the division record tiebreaker.  They have been getting a lot of "good fortune" on their win streak (Bills and Broncos both gifted them wins and even the Skins gave up a 101 yard interception return in a 2 point loss).  We gave em their mojo with our OT gift to start their streak.  Only fitting that we be the ones to bring it to an end in the rematch...

I really think they could win out if they continue to play well.  Last week wasn't great but a win's  a win.  At Jags should be a win, Texans game is the toughest imo, winnable though, I think the Colts beat the Cowboys, I don't think the Cowboys are as good on the road (even though it'll be tough to stop Zeke and Cooper) and I think the Giants is a win, the Titans game will be tough, but winnable.  I am hoping for 11-5 or 10-6(obviously) but realistically it might be 9-7.  At 9-7 it'll be hard to grab that last playoff spot, but possible.  I just hope we can see them get in this year.  No one thought they would so they are playing with house money.  There going to be a tough out.

Ravens and Colts both tied at 6-5 for final AFC Playoff spot,

Here is our schedule:

at Jax

at Houston

Dallas

NYG

at Tennessee

Here is the Ravens schedule:

at Atlanta (this could be a loss being that its in Atlanta)

at KC (this will be a loss)

Tampa Bay (they will win this one)

at LAC (this will be a loss)

Cleveland (this could even be a loss but the Ravens will probably win)

-To me the Ravens have the tougher schedule looking at this.

4-1 guarantees the wild card, 3-2 might get it done. 5-0 is possible, but not probable.

If I had a guess:

Jax - W

Texans - toss up, I'll go L just because its on the road

Cowboys - toss up, I'll go W just because its at home

Giants - W

Titand - W

As it stands now, I see either 9-7 or 10-6 which if you'd have given me those as options at the start of the year, I'd say good deal. Depending on which of the talking heads you listen to, 9-7 gets them in.

I super think we’re going to win that game. But their schedule is easy. The toughest game for them (besides us :P) is at Philly, who is probably the most underwhelming sb champ in a decade

The Colts have already surpassed my expectations with the 5 game winning streak and developing the younger players.  However...we have a lot of young contributors and young guys hit the “rookie wall” and also fail to close out games late in the season. We beat bad teams like we should but struggled against a few of them.  I see us dropping at least two games maybe three if the rookies fall flat.  Finishing the season 8-2 is something to build on and be proud of.  No matter the outcomes I consider this season a tremendous success.

As of now it's a battle between ravens and colts for final wildcard spot. Not catching chargers. Aren't them and Texans sitting at 8-3? The wheels would need to fall off for both.

The Chargers are at 8-3. Even if the Colts and Chargers end up at 11-5, Chargers win a tiebreaker based on a better record in common games (Chargers 5-0, Colts 4-1).

If we end up at 11-5 we will win the division, because I don't think Houston can beat the Eagles in Philly, especially now that they'll be in the hunt.

I think we finish 9-7 with losses to Houston and Dallas. I really dont want to have to go into Tennessee with a win and in scenario but it may be that way. Three horse race for the wild card between Colts, Ravens and Broncos. The Broncos schedule is really easy. I do think the 6th seed will be 9-7 whoever it is

Dallas scares me more than Houston. If we beat Houston, 10-6 is probable. That is a BIG IF though. I have been saying all along 9-7 is where our highest probability lyes.

BAL is toast. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost the next 4. Have to be able to score to keep up with all of those teams...and a run-first option offense isn't going to get it done.

I get Houston is on a roll, but Titans beat Dallas.  We beat Titans.  Why all of a sudden is Dallas unbeatable? If we have Kelly back, are we not able to handle Dallas defense?  Dallas doesn’t score a lot of points.  Also this was a must game for Dallas and not N.O. It happens.

We can beat Dallas but they are redhot like us so it's not a guarantee. Lets beat the Jags 1st  and worry later. Its been a fun season.

Last night's game was very low scoring. Dallas held Saints to 10, and Saints have been on Fire this year. You just never know.

Any Given Sunday.

 I still like our chances.

Yeah chargers are in the 5th seed. Ravens are 6th who we are currently in battle with.

We would have to win out and chargers lose 3 games.....

That is good news about the Raven's schedule because they appear at least right now to be winning the tiebreaker.

So we will likely have to have more wins than the Ravens in order to make the playoffs.

I think the Ravens are Bengals are both going to fall out of the race, I am worried about Tenn.  Yes we beat them the first time but we have to play on their field next time and their schedule is super weak the rest of the way other than the Colts.  Hopefully the Colts can just win out and the problem will be solved :D

Agreed you can't overlook them.  A lot of things worked in the Colts favor that game.  Home field advantage.  Mariota injured, their defensive coordinator going to the hospital.

There was an article in the Baltimore Sun a day or two ago where the author of the article didn't exactly give the Ravens a thumbs up for beating the Raiders and didn't exactly like their chances going forward.

    • https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/rams-tried-to-trade-up-for-brock-bowers-then-byron-murphy   You seem to be right.
    • Read this this morning. Thought it was interesting    https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/indianapolis-colts/news/colts-rams-nfl-draft-trade-offer-revealed-rejected/be019bcd2ee81b6ffeb4656e     "This was the rejected trade offer from the Rams to the Colts in the first round:     Rams get: Nos. 15, 191   Colts get: Nos. 19, 99, 154   While that's the kind of deal Chris Ballard would be expected to take in the past, the Colts clearly had an eye for edge rusher Laiatu Latu.   It's clear that it would have taken much more in the offer for the Colts to move off the chance of selecting the prospect they believe was the best defender in the entire draft.   There were a few viable prospects available at the time so it would have made sense for the Colts to trade back.   But this only proves how convicted they were in draft Latu."     Not too surprised we turnt that down as it has us losing on the draft chart by a little bit, but does show the conviction they had in Latu.
    • Offense wins in the league now and to take it a step further the QB is by far the lost important piece on any team.    So, on offense you need the best possible QB with the best possible supporting cast and on defense you need players who can affect the play of the opposing QBs directly.
    • This is definitely an issue. So, either Ballard is A.) Cheap and he doesn't want to spend money on FAs (even with injuries happening) or B.) He can't build a competitive enough team to attract any worthwhile FA's after 7 going on 8 years now.    If AR and the current team can't attract FAs that could theoretically get a starting job at the S position for a year, then we are in big trouble according to the opinions of the players of the NFL. Personally, I think Ballard just avoids FA so much that he doesn't want to bring outside help in. He wants to be known as the GM who builds his team from the draft.   Wish the local media would call him out on this.
    • I think the Colts have the money to be competitive for a good free agent safety.  I think bringing in one of them may depend on whether a player like Simmons wants to play for the Colts.  They may be hoping to sign for a team with a better chance of making the playoffs.   So I don’t know if Ballard is making a statement or not?     Hope my answer makes sense to you….
