I understand people will want him but does he even fit? This is still Chucks Defense and Schwartz runs a 4-3 D doesnt he?

 

Also, that defense on buffaloo looked so godly mostly because they had ridiculous talent, i dont think he would replicate that success here.

We need a solid and experienced defensive mind to fill this spot. Now if Chuck who is a defensive minded coach can raise up this defense to the top 15 and our offense returns to the top 5. Now you got something to work with

It was a 3-4 in Buffalo, if I remember right. The 4-3 was in Detroit and Tennessee.

 

But Mike Pettine would be a great choice as well.

I don't think he is a scapegoat. I think they are bringing in someone who they feel is better. They have begun the upgrade process of both coaches and players. Good to see!

Yeah that's why I want an interview. We could see if he's a fit and like our personnel. He's very experienced and had some success with Buf. Maybe we can grab Mario Williams, he hates it in Buf right now.

I don't think Pagano is an upgrade over Manusky. Seems like the most lateral move possible

I think it's going to be Pettine unless Rex Ryan makes a claim on him.  Pagano and Pettine were together in Baltimore. He knows quite a bit about him I'm sure.  Pettine is who I want.

The Chargers got rid of six assistant coaches yesterday. Pagano wasn't one of them, surprisingly. I'm thinking he's not going anywhere.

 

Even if he was, I wouldn't want him.
