I have moved on; it took me 2 full years to do it after he retired but I have. If I can do it, anyone can. I was devasted in 2019 after he announced he was retiring; I held out hoping he would come back in 2020 after our 7-9 season - still in denial, I held out hope he would come back in 2021 after Rivers retired - still in denial and thinking no way he is really going to retire being that young. Once we signed Wentz in 2021, I knew deep down it was over then. -

He was showing off his skills -
Reports were that we tried, but the packers caught wind and jumped even higher to make said move

I’d been fine with him quitting at half time in the third preseason game, which he did, if he hadn’t also gone out and gone thru full warm ups in front of home town fans just moments before, which he also in fact did. that is how my stance has been for 5 years. His going out there, by his own admission on his own accord to feed his own ego, going thru full warm ups and appearing perfectly healthy and ready to go in front of home town fans was a huge middle finger to Jim Irsay, Chris Ballard and all Colts fans everywhere. And always will be. It was “hey look at me, look what I can do, your 25 million dollar QB who will never play another snap for you despite being healthy” move. A true classless act.

I guarantee if colts had not taken him at 4 Seahawks would have taken him at 5.. He would have went very quickly after colts if they had not taken him. I don’t think it was that at all.
