  1. Someone sticky this thread for 20 years please.
  2. Marlon Mack 2 yard touchdown second quarter.... in Tennessee
  3. We lost our best player at the most important position. Doesn’t bode well.
  4. People roll this out but with each passing year becoming less and less relevant.
  5. Hope I’m wrong, but looking like a rough year for the Colts. 1-4 start looks likely with getting a win against the raiders but losses against Chargers, Titans, Falcons, and Chiefs. Then next 6 games look like 2-4 or 3-3. So now we’re at 3-8 or 4-7. Final five games look like 1-4 or 2-3. So now 4-12, 5-11, or best case 6-10. Again, hope I’m wrong! Looking like rough times ahead. If Hoyer has to play significant games, oooh weee, can knock the win total down 2-3.
  6. I don’t think either side has much interest in a deal right now. It’ll be this offseason. Brissett would bet on himself if the deal above was offered, and right now, there’s no reason for the Colts to offer anything of significance for a QB that is only described as top 20 based on their analysis. Couldn’t even get into top half of starters per the Colts.
  7. To be fair, Castonzo is closer to the end while Tunsil is closer to the beginning of his career.
  8. Franchise QBs aren’t described as top 20. He’s a lower end QB even in the Colts’ brass eyes. Think he will win some games this year but not someone to take us to the promised land. Hope I’m wrong!
  9. Booing is completely understandable considering the circumstances (Luck messaging and signaling for months he was playing, warming up and laughing just last week, this coming out mid game with him on the sidelines chilling....).
  10. 5-11. Brissett benched for Kelly week 10 after a 2-8 start. Kelly finishes year 3-3 pushing the Colts out of a spot to draft a top flight QB. Mediocrity persists for Colts. Ballard fired after 2020-2021 season. Peyton is brought in with partial team ownership. Trevor Lawrence drafted. New era begins.
  11. Can we get an Andrew quit chant going at Lucas oil? Would make my day
  12. Colts future prospects nose diving. Brissett is just middling at best. Probably will finish .500 which puts them out of reach of any respectable QB which means more mediocrity. Lucas Oil about to get empty. Also, could’ve drafted a QB in last year’s loaded class. Darnold could be a Colt now. Luck absolutely screwed the Colts retiring a year later
  13. Love the optimism, but the drop from Luck to JB is significant. Was a tough game on paper with Luck. Without him, long shot at best. Chargers D even without James, is legit.
  14. Depending, if, DF, all you needed to say that likely WR will be a need still.
  15. Mmm. It’s early but I’ll say WR, OT, and maybe safety.
  16. Would be a fireable offense for the medical team IMO to rest this long and then still require surgery. Was optimistic about him and him playing, but now not so much. Today’s news should turn any optimism to straight pessimism. Wouldn’t shock me at all now if misses significant time during the season.
  17. Barring new information, will be zero games. https://mobile.twitter.com/bepryor?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author not sure how to embed on this forum
  18. I mainly read fantasy stuff. Here an excerpt from something I read on Okereke and have read other takes as well about his potential to usurp Walker’s role eventually (don’t think right away). ”The organization is excited about their rookie third-round pick Bobby Okereke who has a skill set eerily similar to that of Darius. He is fast, athletic, physical, intelligent and comes with all the measurables that make a defensive coordinator giddy. Okereke was highly productive as a three-year starter for Stanford where he totaled 182 combined tackles, 7.5 sacks, 4 turnovers and a touchdown over his final two seasons. He was also a team captain and has quite an off-field resume that demonstrates his leadership qualities. Okereke told reporters he will work at all three linebacker positions but expects to play mostly in the middle. If he lives up to expectations the Colts may soon have one of the best linebacker tandems in the game.” Guy could have no idea what he’s talking about but the organization seems to like him, very productive at Stanford, believe Stephen Holden was saying a couple months ago that Walkers hold on the position was tenuous at best. A lot of signs point to Okereke eventually winning out.
  19. I think Okereke will be starting by the end of the year next to Leonard.
  20. Just to confirm, you think all of Campbell, Cain, and Fountain will be hits? Love the optimism.
  21. Colts should’ve hired Ballard after Grigson did one more draft using this logic. AKA, it doesn’t make much sense to plan things this way. Clearly something went wrong or were scared to pull the trigger and now are sadly doing it late after additional damage done by the GM (at least in the eyes of the decision maker). Probably hurt that the best OT was dropping to them and the. Another team traded up in front of them to take him, and then they massively reached for the other OT they did take.
