AR5 Just a better human

Just read a short article about AR5 making an impact on the league already. Glad he is a Colts! Below is a key passage from the article. 

 

"Specifically, after the dinner attended by all potential draftees, the room was left a mess. Everyone was leaving and Troy Vincent saw one person who stayed behind and was bussing tables, before the staff came back into the room. Vincent walked up and approached him and said, ‘You don’t need to do this.’ To which Anthony Richardson responded, ‘We left this room in an unacceptable condition and it’s not right for us to expect the staff to clean it all up.’

I read this story yesterday and was like "Yep... I'm ready to get hurt again.  That's my quarterback."  Definite jersey incoming (it was going to be incoming regardless, but I can 100% like and root for this guy)

It is hard not to root for this guy. His personality reminds me of Teddy Bridgewater except Teddy seemed to choose his words carefully to say the right thing. Richardson is humble like Teddy, but he seems more confident and does not seem to try to impress. It seems to come natural for him, as he if he has always been like that. And he is only 21 years old.  Hopefully fans will appreciate him.

This is one of a plethora of reasons that the Colts drafted this young man as our new franchise QB.

Parris Campbell was the same type young man. Became a huge fan of his. Anthony is quickly filling that role! So refreshing

His actions speak volumes! Over 200 players attended and he was willing to step up. This character and action is rare in the sports world and in our society as a whole. Many are concerned with gaining an edge or getting over on others and not taking responsibility. This is a story that should be promoted on all media!

 

Being a decent human being means a lot!  A 20 year old doing what many twice his age would not. WOW!

This reminds me of S. Leonard and the good things he does for people like changing tires. It's the kind of player Ballard drafts AR5 is a great guy to have as the face of your franchise. It's why AR5 will be great because of his character, work ethic, and willingness to take coaching it's exciting.
