Sweet! Thanks for laying it all out like this! This will make it easy for anyone to go back and look, whoever is interested in knowing who “won” haha

If you make it there, can you sneak in early and repaint the field to the SHOE! I’m sure plenty of us can pitch in here to get you the funds for the materials and a lil somethin somethin for your time. haha

You should definitely go. It should be fun.

Alright, tickets secured!  Looking forward to seeing my first game live.  So used to watching only on the Sunday Ticket...splurged on seats behind the colts sideline.  Can't wait!

i am afraid will trevor will pick us apart if we cant get pressure and stop him when he runs

Not to say it can’t happen but Lawerence has been really bad this season. Then add to it they have no running game I doubt that happens. Agnew killed us last game and he isn’t playing either. He doesn’t have many weapons and with no running game we should get a couple int. Again weird things happen down there but this happening is probably pretty slim.

Put this in the practice report thread, but will drop it here too.

Unless something has changed just recently, Jax is still without their starting LT, C, TE, FS, P, H, due to Covid. Chaisson who is their DE rook who is 2nd string, also still looks to be out.....

All in all, Jax wants to lock up the #1 pick....... Sure guys will be playing/auditioning for next season, but we all know ownership and FO all will be happy with a loss.

If we lose, we simply suck.... We should beat them by minimum 14, and do it in easy fashion.

Out of all the games this one scares me the most. We've lost 6 straight times in Jacksonville, most of those times we had the much better team. The Jags have nothing to lose and will consider this game the "start". For us, a loss would be devastating. Last week we can just say the guys weren't up to speed because of covid, not this week.

The Colts have to win it.

If we lose this it’ll be a disaster for Reich and Ballard. A complete disgrace and they will have to answer for it.

Their brass will want the number 1 pick even if the players want to beat the Colts badly.

24-6 Colts.

I just want a win.  I think they will get a win too.  I feel like this team has too much character and too much talent to go to the worst team in the league and lose with their season on the line even with the past history vs the Jags.  In fact I think that will only motivate them more.  I am not willing to say they will blow them out but I do expect the Colts to get the W tomorrow.

24-13 Colts Win

A Jax win screws both teams, so I think they fold (I hope so). If they win:

1. Knocks them out of the #1 pick in the draft

2. Knocks us out of the playoffs

I can’t see them risking that #1 pick/draft capital.

You have to remember the current players and coaches lose their jobs and will feel the embarrassment of being the worst team in the league.  Yes you can say they are going to lose their jobs anyways but that doesn’t mean they are going to be motivated to get the top pick for someone else to use.  If they were they would sit their starters tomorrow.  It’s the opposite they want to avoid it if they can.  I remember when the Colts upset the Texans in 2011 and someone asked Robert Mathis about maybe losing the top pick and he just said I don’t give a damn about the top pick I care about these guys and winning for us.

That motivation doesn’t change the fact the Jags are a bad team that’s had a long and trying season though.  Often times if you jump on team like that early they will go into here we go again let’s just get to the off-season mood.  You just can’t let them hang around because if you do the competitive I want to win mind set sets in and they try really hard to win.

Well here it goes,I can't imagine losing this game, but then again, we lost last week(??????????). It is unreal how many times in the last 48 years we have lost a game that we would have clinched a playoff spot with a win(and usually those losses have come against clearly inferior teams, like last week). Last weeks loss put me at 11-5 on the season. This should be a cakewalk, but I believe it was 1988 all we had to do was beat the Saints to get into the playoffs and we lost something like 45-14. A Colt team fighting for a playoff spot got anilated and coach Ron Meyer said after the game,"we just came up short today", huh??. If we lose this game today it will stink of 1988 all over again. IT CAN'T HAPPEN, it would be a debacle of epic proportions. So I will go with a Colt win, but it won't be easy, because it NEVER is. Go Colts!!!!

I don’t have a good feeling about this game, it feels like yet another trap game.  Last time Lawrence played like last year’s Wentz and they still almost won.  I can’t imagine they’ll play as badly this time.

A trap game after a loss like last week usually doesn’t happen. We have also come out and smashed bad teams after a bad loss.

Season is in the line here, that’s why I have a bad feeling.  Can we win under what is essentially a playoff-game pressure situation?
