Something to remember guys. Rivers played poorly. Defense in the first half played poorly. Rivers cost us 9 points but the defense cost us 20.

giving up 20 to a team averaging 35 a game is not bad .  the defense is not able to carry the team every single game . the offense has to score more then 16 points that is a fact .

Averaging 35 in 4 quarters. We gave them 20 in 2. That’s not good.

12 carries for Taylor is criminal. Rivers has to humble himself & realize if he wants a ring, he’s only gonna get it throwing 25 times a game and running it the same or more.

you cant expect the defense to hold the team to 14 every single game .  the offense has to be able to score more then 16 points . this is the modern nfl the offenses have a huge advantage .  this game is on rivers he is really bad .   he gave up 9 points while scoring 16 points on offense  .  the offense only had a plus minus of 7 points  that is horrible .

Well we lost 23-29, if it wasn't for a pick 6 and a safety it would be 23-20 but you really can't think like that.

 

This is my biggest take aways from the game

-the offense still doesn't have any explosive plays 

-Offense had 1 touchdown and 3 Field goals we need to do better

-2nd half Defense kept us in the game with 2 picks and looked better (could be contributed to better play or more conservative play call)

-While there was a lot of hate on the defense, The offense lost us this game 

 

Personally I don't see this offense getting better with Rivers at the helm

I'm going to feel bad for the Bengals next week....one thing this team has done is rebound from a loss .
