He said when McDaniels backed out, he intentionally did not ask his agent to call the colts.  Said he and his wife decided they were not chasing anything.  Says his work speaks for itself

I like him Frank Reich that is. I liked everything I heard from him and he has a strong presence. I think this was the best coach we could have gotten there's something about this guy. We really dodged a bullet with McLoser.

With what was said in the presser do we really know that Frank was the back up? With it coming out he went dark could it be that the Colts might have tried to contact him before they did McDaniels and was told by his agent hey hes not interested in anything until after the post season?  So the Colts moved ahead and brought some guys in for interviews and found the one that seems to fit the plans and tried to move forward with things. 

 

It seems like Frank will be a good fit here only time will tell as with any coach.

Coach Reich seems like a very good fit for the Colts. He has that calm demeanor, but he seems like the type of coach that will demand a lot from the players and other coaches.

Love what I heard from FR!! Think we definitely got the better deal! He has a presence about him that will serve well for this franchise going forward I believe. Can't wait for free agency, draft, and season!

Frank has a football mind for sure. That is something I have missed. Guys that can really talk football. His demeanor, and voice alone show he indeed has the tools to be a good teacher.

Great presence, love the message and hire, seems like a total class act!! Reich and Ballard should make a great team & seem to be a ideal fit!!
