HtownColt
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Cribbs and the Colts signed a two-year deal.Former #Browns return man great Josh Cribbs signed a two-year deal with the Colts, per agent J.R. Rickert.
Horse Shoe Heaven
Don't care he really gets crazy with this no fair catch thing & teams are teeing off on him! In a game were ball security is a premium I would much rather have Wahlen who holds onto the ball & give up the potential explosive play as to the possible turnover and maybe an explosive play, or our returner getting jacked up! Bravo
http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/indianapolis-colts/joshua-cribbs/Don't think this site is right. (See posts above) still not sure though.
akcolt
I hope he doesn't come back. We can find someone who contributes to the team and returns kicks. I guy I think would be a great scat back type is Marcus Murphy probably an UDFA from Missouri. He leaves Missouri with 5,112 all-purpose yards and 25 touchdowns, scored via running (16), receiving (2), kick returning (5) and punt returning (2). akcolt
Cribbs is on a one year deal. We only have 3 WR's under contract TY Moncrief Carter http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/indianapolis-colts/joshua-cribbs/
21isSuperman
I've been confused about this too. I've seen conflicting reports between him being under contract next year and him being a free agent now

Coltswarriors
He's incredibly frustrating. He gives us hope at taking it the distance and being a big play guy, but he's also very, very reckless....
Dustin
1 year deal with a 2nd year option? That would explain the conflicting reports.

JlynRN
Why did we get rid of Deji Karim again? I thought we brought Deji Karim back at one point, but then he got injured or something like that? Unless I'm thinking of someone else, which is very possible LOL
Bluefire4
I thought it was a two year deal but was then told he was a FA. I hope he gets cut if he isn't one. I knew he wouldn't do anything.
Chucklez
he is the best return guy we have had in a long time. Keep himHe dropped the ball quite a few times last season when receiving it. In my mind he took way too many risks when the reward just wasnt there. I know he every now and then broke out for huge plays during his career from seemingly terrible positions, but the risk / reward just isnt there for me. JColts72
I rather have Carter return punts. Cribss signing is another waste of money. He fair cateches when does not have too, does not fair catch when should as about to get hammered, runs the ball out of end zone when should not and so on. Maybe he will start to catch punts instead oof using his visor and face mask.

I recall very vividly complaining that he's supposed to be our "safe" return option, but if he can't even do that, then we ought to get somebody with more home run ability. Cribs brings that, but clearly he has to make some better decisions, no doubt. It's tough not to pull for Griff Whalen, but I'll be very surpised if he makes the team next year. I suspect his time in the NFL is almost up.

Jaric
If he'd call for a fair catch every now and again I'd love me some Josh Cribbs. special teams turnovers can be absolutely devasting. I appreciate never wanting to give up, but sometimes you gotta just be smart. I won't blame him for the Patriots debacle, but that turnover was a huge momentum swing.
