Madden ratings

I shouldn't post this here. It's like promoting mass hysteria. But the Madden ratings are out...

Some of these have leaked already (Luck is 88, Wilson is 93, so there you go). But if you want to see the rest: http://www.easports.com/madden-nfl/news-updates-gameplay/article/afc-nfc-south-player-ratings There's a link at the bottom of that page that downloads all the Madden ratings.

Or you can go here http://www.stampedeblue.com/2014/8/6/5977129/colts-madden-2014-ratings-revealed where they've created a chart with all Colts ratings.

I apologize in advance.

Que crazy Colts fans!

The team ranking as a whole isn't bad but some of the players are.. I looked at them and wasn't going to say anything because everyone was going to freak..

Realize that this is how Madden is every year..

The Colts are constantly underrated! Get used to it!

But there are weekly updates so if the Colts play well player ratings should go up week to week! So that gives everyone another reason to cheer on the Colts if you don't have enough already!!

I don't play, but I admire all the analysis that goes into making the game. I really don't care about the ratings, however it is fun to see how worked up people get over them!

Rating is a small factor when you know how to play. Countless times I play online and everyone picks the top teams (Seattle,San Fransisco, Denver, New England, and New Orleans

All have been beaten by me using the Colts.

In real life, Mathis may be our only pass rusher that gets a rush. But in Madden, run the Colts with the Multiple D and you'll see just how good our LB core and Dline really is

Even Landry is good for a sack or 2 a game when you use the defense right. Nothing more peaceful than the sound of your opponent raging cause he thought picking the high rated teams guaranteed his win

In real life, Mathis may be our best pass rusher but he's not the only one that gets a pass rush. The fact that he got to 19.5 sacks last year proves our dline is better than most give it credit for

Dead serious. For example, you guys bash Walden & Werner. Both did well last season, do eben better when I use them in Madden.

Josh Chapman when in was definitely immovable, is Vince Wilfork JR. when I use him in Madden.

I haven't bashed any Colt players. So you really think the game of Madden relates to real NFL football? If you play games and enjoy them that's cool. But let's keep reality and fantasy in their place. I don't drink apple juice but thanks anyway.  :hat:

If it was anyone else, I would be sure they are joking... but the logic he displays on the regular basis means that this outrageous notion does not shock me in the slightest.

Hardly. We played against a Bunch of 2nd rate/string tackles and QB`s.

If that were true, those 2nd rate/string tackles would have gotten a lot of help if they were trying to block one of the best pass rushers in the game.  Mathis got as many sacks as he did because those OTs did not get a lot of blocking help, and that's because other blockers were occupied with interior DL.  If the interior DL was ineffective then there would have been enough additional blocking help to have prevented Mathis from getting to 19.5 sacks.  That's 19.5 out of 42 by the way.  So other players on the team, including players on the DL, accounted for an additional 22.5 sacks.

    • Less than 2 months away when the greatest crushes this Jake Paul guy. Tyson in 3. Tyson is getting in great shape, he looks fast and strong as of now.    When I list boxers where they rank, I go by peak. You have to when it comes to boxing because most fighters Don't last long. Mike Tyson from 1985-1995 only lost once. Buster Douglass beat him in a fight where Mike didn't even train for and Mike Actually KO'd him in the 8th, Douglass got a 13 count.
    • I'm excited about our future. I think Ballard put together 2 very nice drafts in a row. Never thought we would get Latu, thought we had a better chance at Bowers. Still holding out hope for Cross, he flashes greatness than dissappears, hope he's consistent. Hope Woods takes lead in TE room. I keep writing off Granson, but he keeps impressing. Even if Richardson has a mediocre season I think the team around him could get us to 10-7.
    • I think you understood his words in a "positive" way, but that's not what he said.   He DID NOT say that "most of you would choose to get married..."   That's your implication. Of course, only women can bring children in this world and most of the women will choose to be married and have children, but that's not exactly what he said.   He said, "doing so - while some others will go on to lead successful career in the world - will take you closer to God's Will"    Here's what he said from the transcript:    He could've said, "even if you go on to have a very successful career, and get the greatest accolades of the world, I think the most important title of a woman is :  Homemaker. And, that would take you closer to God's Will"    But, he didn't say so because he wanted to say exactly what he believes women should do and brought God into that by saying that's His Will.    I think he made a mistake of implying that women are generally excited about marriage and having kids and being a homemaker, when that's only part of a woman's life - even though that could be the most cherished and blessed part of the life.   He only looked at how that made his wife's life - his words, not his wife's words by the way - and projected that to all the women.
    • This happens every single year and every single year people worry about the occasional unsigned rookie when we haven't even gotten into June yet.   Guys/gals... it's really a big nothing burger. Ever since the NFL introduced rookie scale contracts this has been a non-issue. Everything important in those contracts has been made non-negotiable. The negotiable things are largely minutiae - it's about schedule of payment...it's about off-set language, or language about voiding salary payments(for example - can the team void payments for suspensions and stuff like that), etc.   There are two cases I remember in the last 10 years where this has become a problem and the player has actually missed training camp practices because of it - Joey Bosa(because of schedule of payments dispute) and Roquan Smith(because of dispute about the language about voiding payments for suspensions because of play). And as you see... Both of those were top 10 picks. (i.e. more money on the line)...   Holdouts/holdins of day 2 and day 3 picks are pretty much unheard of. I personally couldn't find a single case when I looked for it.    AD seems to be taking part in both rookie mini camp and in OTAs and hasn't missed any practice, we haven't heard about any sort of dispute so far, so my assumption would be there is nothing to see here and it's all formality.    So yeah... Unless we hear there is a problem I would just assume everything is good.
