He's only run it 3 times. And both were middle-ish into clogged gaps.

He could have taken that 2nd down run for 20+ had they sent him to the edge.

They are rushing 5 a bunch, so the lanes are clogged. Need to bump it outside.

Run game doesn't work like that.  It's a reason why Derrick Henry usage was so high but he was leading.  It probably won't work in the first half.  Doesn't mean abandon it just because it's not working.  Also, maybe instead of forcing it up the gut, we try running outside?

The run was long developing, and nobody, I mean nobody was near the left edge. They were rushing 5 clogging gaps and DBs in coverage.
