Who is on your list for the first round of cuts? I've got:

Tipton

Carr

Ulrick John

Muamba

Montori Hughes

Those are the first couple that come to mind immediately. I thought they either head really bad performances or got outplayed by someone else at the same position.

No to Hughes or John and probably no to Tipton. At least not in the first cuts.

Hughes makes the final 53. He was solid, if unspectacular, last year.

Pretty much. Just tryna get a though idea of who might be on the way out first.

Also I think Hughes not making the 53 is a real possibility. We just drafted Anderson and Parry. Plus Kerr looks better. I think the defensive line depth is solid enough that he's not needed. For a guy his size. Even against 2nd and 3rd stringers on the Eagles, he was silent. I just don't see the point in keeping him.

Maybe I'm overreacting though.

It doesn't seem likely, but we may be able to swing a trade to get a 5th or later pick for Luck. May be tough though. Might be able to get Jax's 5th rounder or Cleveland's 5th rounder.
