Uncertainty for #Colts T.Y. Hilton, Gosder Cherilus (plus find out who's taking snaps at right tackle) http://indy.st/1ALGOGO

Pagano doesn't talk to media on Thursdays. Won't get much info on Hilton/Cherilus. TY didn't seem keen on idea of sitting when we just spoke

Thursday's DNPs for the @Colts included Hilton, Cherilus and Thornton missing two straight days. A new look right side of the O-line Sunday?

Will be interesting to see how #colts handle Vontae Davis, TY Hilton. If there's a chance they can aggravate injuries, they should sit.@rtv6

One guy's speculation on #colts injury report? Cherilus doesn't play at Dallas. Xavier Nixon at RT. @rtv6

Unbelievable. When I start a topic,it gets deleted. Not so for everyone else. That'll be the last time I do that. I don't even see why we would play hard. We can't change our position. Den and ne will not lose out. Please.

Likely that Denver and New England lose out - no.  Possible - yes.  On the other hand, they can still very much lose the 3 seed.

See, without even trying hard I debunked your theory as to why they should actually play hard and try to win this game at the very least.  On Tuesday the picture may be clearer and you can make that argument then.  Right now - it is not a good point to make.

Like when?

I'm completely unfamiliar with this new poster....  and I know nothing about nothing....

But that doesn't stop me from guessing....   and it's only a guess.

But my guess would be that he started a thread that may have already been started by someone else and a moderator folded this posters thread into another thread as is the custom.    But perhaps the new poster here was not informed, so he thought his thread was removed and didn't realize it was attached to an already existing thread?

Possible?

It's possible. It's also possible that the thread was moved to a more appropriate section of the forum.

What's very, very unlikely, is that anyone shut down someone's thread for no reason. But by all means, people should feel free to jump to whatever conclusions they want.

You might want to wear a bib when you're dripping that much sarcasm!!

If TY is dinged sit him down.  As much as my fantasy team hates saying that, I would rather lose my fantasy superbowl than risk TY not being available for the playoffs!!  WE ALL GOTTA SACRIFICE!!!  LOL

Interested to see Nixon get the start, if it happens.  Would like to see him stay healthy for a while!

Mike Chappell of RTV6 Indianapolis is "convinced" T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) will not play Week 16 against the Cowboys.

Chappell has been covering the Colts for 30 years. His opinion is worthy of taking note. Hilton hasn't practiced at all this week and wasn't present again Friday. If he sits, Donte Moncrief should see a major boost in snaps. With Reggie Wayne and Hakeem Nicks lacking any semblance of separation skills, Moncrief and Coby Fleener could hog targets against the Cowboys' weak pass defense.

That's not a good sign. I hope he can go, because we can surely rest him next week.

But those groin injuries can be bad if aggravated. I think that's what happened to Tolar last year and it really messed up his year. Might be best of resting him both weeks if it would help to heal it up. But often injuries are going to linger anyway and I guess that's why players often play when less than 100%. I guess  what this posts says is I have no clue....

@DesmondPurnell: Sources close to the team tell me Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray plans on playing Sunday against The Colts.

No surprise

Yeah... been reading since yesterday they decided to leave it up to Murray. LOL on that one...

    • Something else to lock away in the brain.   Ballard got 4 players, while trading down and still getting Mitchell.   2.46 - **traded for #52, #142, #155   **2.52 - $1,219,297 - Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas   **5.142 - $883,167 - Anthony Gould, WR, Oregon State    **5.155 - ****traded for #164, #201   ****5.164 - $869,254 - Jaylin Simpson, S, Auburn    ****6.201 -$838,489 - Micah Abraham, CB, Marshall      That trade down, then subsequent trade down again, allowed us to get who we were more than likely going to grab anyway(Mitchell). While also being able to throw 3 more darts, including a second WR, and 2 other guys that I think have a good chance of earning one of this last spots at CB, Safety.
    • Agree, I think Young has a pretty decent chance to stick.   We need multiple LBers that can cover. Hopefully Carlies and him both make the squad and help underneath and over the middle   Yeah he has a crazy build. FB would make some sense for him. Not sure if we will carry one of those or not?     I don't think Eric Johnson has a very good chance of keeping a roster spot.  To many guys there now.
    • Craig Young was an Ohio State recruit and transferred to Kansas  - both he and the new draftee Jaylon Carlies have a similar athletic profile with a 4.50ish 40, with 33 and 34 inch arms (respectfully) and both are 6'3" and 226ish......I think Craig Young has a chance as a back-up/teams guy if he shows out in camp. Stuard, McGrone and Olubi aren't exactly world beaters after all. Those measurements (BTW) are very much in the mold of the Okereke/Leonard/Speed size/length/speed ratios..........   Trent Pennix played RB/FB/TE at N.C. State - could we be incorporating an actual FB into the offense? He is only 6'1" and 234 pounds so very much NOT the mold of our typical tight ends?   Isaiah Coe did 34 bench reps and is a bit bigger...........if he proves stronger at the point of attack than Eric Johnson, he could earn a spot at the back end of the roster as well.   Outside of that I don't see anyone pushing for a roster spot.
    • Congrats to @Archer. This year was harsh for the contestants in the draft contest, but Archer's exact pick accompanied with him identifying him pre-draft as a potential LB conversion, is quite possibly the best call I've seen on this board on a prospect truly under the radar.    Truly well deserved win.    With that out of the way, I want to take a moment to thank @Dr. T for organizing and running one of the most fun activities on this board. I've been here for just the last 6-7 years, but this contest has turned into a highlight of the off-season for me. Hope everything is alright with our Dr. and he enjoys good retirement and I'm wishing good luck to @chad72. Big shoes to fill, no doubt he will continue the tradition in style.
    • Great job identifying Carlies. This is insane call on both the conversion and the pick. Huge props @Archer!!
