it has been frustrating how many injures we have had it has seem to have been one after another. it is also frustrating to see all the talent on IR. But at the end of the day we have to try to make the best of our situation.

OK so Brazill DNP yesterday and is now in a boot.  Are all the naysayers still so sure about not giving Branch a chance?  Or if not Branch then they better bring Whalen back up.  Still another day of practice so I guess we will see if he can go tomorrow.

Brazill AND Pep have both downplayed the boot as a precaution for Brazill. Obviously practicing tomorrow would be reassuring but if they are both saying that it isnt as serious as it looks then I can take that at face value.... 

Unless we definitely lose another WR to injury I am definitely against bringing in another player at this point in the season.... It's just too desperate a move at this point. No time for them to learn the playbook or develop chemistry with the QB. It would make far more sense to bring someone up from the practice squad now.

Especially as the person who was worked out hasnt played a down since 2012.....

I guess he's only 97% at the moment, the guy isnt doing himself any favors. I don't see Grigs keeping someone who's out half the season, because half of his missed time is due to not being 100%. I can see an organization doing this for a franchise kind of player but not a #2 CB.

I agree, unless Toler comes back and plays lights out he is probably gone ... it only costs us $670,000 to cut him after this season.  That's the good thing about most of the contracts Grigson gave out; we can get out of most of them for next to nothing.

no i understand that. but do you realize how many players rarely get to play at 100%? most players are good to go at like 80%, but yeah i mean we clinched really no reason to rush him. just sayin in general.

Toler will likely not play till the playoffs, if then.  Best case he may get a few snaps in the jacksonville game to shake off a little rust.  Bob Sanders Jr........  others need to step up and step up now!
