I really feel bad for Dwight. I hope he heals up and can resume his career next season. We won't get to see him go against our line in 2 weeks.

That is a bummer. It was a terrific comeback in the 2nd half for the Chargers, IMO and the boys choked a 21-13 lead and went scoreless in the second half against an average D.

Almost every player we don't resign that was big name for us ends up injured with severe injuries somewhere else. How do we avoid that any get lucky like that a lot ?

He reminds me of Rudy..small, not really athletically gifted..(he's good, not knocking him), just a guy that plays at 1000 percent, gives every last little bit he has on every play, and has a big heart..He was always probably told, you're too small, you're too slow, etc. And each day he goes out to prove everyone wrong. He has a lot of heart, grit and determination..He's a guy everyone would want on their team..

 

He's one player I truly respect..

 

As for Freeney..I wish him a speedy and complete recovery..He doesn't deserve to go out like this if this is his last season..Shame he won't get his wish to sack Peyton..I've been waiting for the match-up for a long time

Looks like Dwight might be out for a while and possibly the rest of the season. No more questions about how he will play against Manning and Luck later in the season. Any thoughts on this?

yeah it sucks.  I hated seeing 93 leave town and to hear he is out indefinitely really really stinks.  I hope he can get back to playing at 100% because SD has really embraced  him and I want him to do well even in those ugly unis

With his age and injury history he just wasn`t likely to get past 6 games before something happened.

Usually the ankles.
He was getting some pressures and no doubt the fans got a kick out of his spin moves.

he was my favorite colt (now favorite former colt), and seeing him go down on sunday tugged at my heart strings. I don't know what lies ahead for him (except rehab), but I wish him luck. He was a heckuva DE in his prime for us.

Sorry Dwight. I hate to see the human tornado sidelined. Always a thrill to watch in action. Hang tough Mr. Freeney. I really wanted to see him in power blue colors this season too. Major bummer.

Well, at least he can get some "stuff" on the side in the Bay area to help him recover fast.

 

He won't get his chance to sack Peyton this season, that is the bummer to me.
