why not if they can get him for a song.Do some goalline stuff and other kinds of gadget formations.Lord knows they are going to need something to keep some attention on them for awhile probably.

I wouldn't.

We don't need gimmicks, we need a smashmouth style and control the line of scrimmage.

Gimmicks don't work. They just confuse the overall goal of your system. Just like in Denver.

It would be interesting but I just don't see it happening.

New Orleans and the Pats are being mentioned, and I'm pretty sure he isn't going to those 2 places to play QB.

that would be weird especially since we're getting luck. let him go to the dolphins where he can be a starter

We are already going to have the Manning fans and I use that term generally not directed at anyone judging Andrew Luck and comparing him to Manning with everything he does we don't need to add the Tebow fans to that mess with Luck.

Hmm, odd two teams I would've never thought would even be interested in him.

Maybe the Pat's coach could make a QB out of him. haha

The thing with those fans is that most of them like Tebow for reasons that have nothing to do with football and there is nothing wrong with that. However they call for Tebow to start regardless of how well the current QB is doing or isn't doing and regardless of how well Tebow is doing or isn't doing.

If you have Brady or Brees , you'd be STUPID to put Tebow behind center.

I could see fullback maybe, but QB at NO or NE? Why?

They have NO reason to run gimmick plays.

Yeah just perfect...

The Luckafiles and the Tebowmaniacs. What a combination.

I shouldn't have went down this path,do you agree?

Who knows. We're not experts.

Anything is possible I guess.

I love the kid (Tebow), I just don't want him as a QB for the Colts.

Depending on the offense that Arians installs it might not be the worst fit. If it resembles what he had in Pittsburgh then Luck/Tebow could be an interesting dynamic, just as Newton/Tebow or Vick/Tebow could be.

I was talking about more of their fan bases.

I wouldn't mind having him as a backup but I would trade less than a 5th round pick to get him.

Yeah they seem to do that with everyone that comes to NE! :wall:

hahahaha no, why waste some of our draft picks and/or players on a QB that would end up backing up Andrew Luck. Not to mention he doesn't know our system. If he is brought in, it's because Irsay wants to put butts in the seats, although every Colts game seems to be sold out.

I see Tebow going to the Fins if Smith stays in SF, or the niners if Smith goes to the Fins.

For now.. Hopefully it stays that way

those sellouts are coming to an end barring a quick turnaround. The Colt's have done a good job pricing themselves out of a large part of their market cause they had PM.That is coming to a screeching halt. There were alot of empty seats last season and that waiting list they love to brag about is going to shrink up real quick.

Yes, it would be the perfect combination, all that would be needed is a smattering of some Peytonmaniacs to jeer at both to ignite a war. Fun times.

that would be a good idea but their strongly pursuing Alex Smith which would be even funnier given the fact the niners were trying hard to get manning and could end up with no qb

Just Say NO to Tebow! Why should the Colts invest in a mediocre QB? But he would be a great back up and back up Luck. But not to start for the Colts. No Way and No Thank you.

Please stop it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree even as a joke Tim Tebow in Indianapolis is nothing to write home or laugh about. Can we select a more meaningful topic of discussion now? Thank you.

He ain't coming via trade. Keep in mind, he is still a 1st round pre-cba pick. Minimum 2 million cap hit.

I totally agree. I have no idea what is all the lovefest in Tebow? Who is a mediocre QB to say the least. I know he has strong faith, and will probably do a lot of good in this world outside of football. But that is about it!

I still don't see all the lovefest with him. He wont be setting the NFL on fire, anytime soon or even in the future. Also people doing the Tebow has gotten really old.fast.

You are 100% correct. Why is it when you critique his quarterbacking skills, specifically his failure to anticipate throws before wide receivers make their breaks on routes or even throw acurrately even when his line of vision is clear & unobstructed, people jump all over you saying "you are a Tebow hater" or dislike his religious conviction?

Look, I can separate a person's personal background from their ability to play football okay. Tim Tebow is not effective on the football field okay. He is a backup QB at best. Teams will bring him in for a workout of course, but his starting field general days are over & done in my opinion.

    • Crossing routes, bunch formations, anything to allow our speedy WRs to get off the line of scrimmage and operate in space = I am a big, big fan.   Really liked what I saw from the offense in the Ravens game.  And if you, as a defensive coordinator, want to scheme to take away the crossing routes, be prepared for Dorsett, Hilton, and Moncrief to stretch the field vertically.
    • They are getting what they deserve for making such a dumb decision.
    • As a Colts fan, I hope Bosa reenters the draft next year and it blows up in both their faces, they deserve it for not compromising. Basically from what I know, Bosa wants all his guaranteed money up front instead of part of it from a year from now. The Chargers have upped their offer from 60% to 85%, and when he said no, they took it away.    I have never seen Bosa speak, but by the way he looks and the way the negotiating has happened, he seems to have a mental block. I have a cousin who has this and he takes a while to understand things. It seems to me Bosa is being highly manipulated by both his Parents and his Agent to get a deal that's not very far off his original terms and holdout and possibly miss a year and lose money.   I feel bad for him, but he does know what he's doing, and he should be able to figure out that the odds of getting drafted no3 overall or higher next year is slim to none, especially because he can't reenter college and would just be sitting at home for a year having to stay in shape, waiting for next year. The only other reason he might not want to sign is that he doesn't want to play for the Chargers. He may want to play for a contender, but that's purely a guess.
    • I somehow always leave off that long snapper! lol
    • Sorry, gavin,  you missed one.....   the long snapper.    So, take the 6th WR and turn him into the LS.   Remember.....   3 for special teams...    K/P/LS   That leaves 50 players....     but it's almost never divided up 25/25....   Then it's typically 23 or 24 for offense.....     and 46 or 47 for defense for a total of 50.   It's an easy rule of thumb......
