How Long Should Luck Play in the Preseason Games?

I'm hoping 3 quarters until the last game, then maybe a couple series.

That should attract more attention than the normal week 3 pre-season game! Indy vs. Wash will be the pre-season game of that week.... fun times ahead...

Week three is the typical week that players play more snaps.

Double edged sword here because keeping him out there means keeping the rest of the offense out there against other teams backups and subs who are merely trying to make the team and might get him hit by someone trying to be a hero.

This is more like it. I'd give him the first half + the first couple of series of the second half in the first two games, and then I'd give him the first three quarters of the third game, then I'd give him three series in the 4th game.

This. G3 is the dress rehearsal so he needs to play the most here while still getting ample time in the first two games. G4 is irrelevant really and mainly used to see who can make the final cut.

Yeah, I think it's closer to this. Game 3 is the closest thing he'll see to a real game scenario, but the thing i want him to really get a feel for is the halftime adjustment.

I think that will also be a good test for the coaches since this will also be their first time doing game planning. This is a new staff and they also have to get to know each other in game situations.

All kidding aside I kind of like the 3,3,half, quarter. All suggestions are viable though, well besides for mine.

He has to play extensively in all pre-season games. he's a rookie starter.

Why not let him play all games, he is rookie and haven't played any NFL game what so ever, the season is starting soon, I want every second of experience I could get, he needs it.

I gotta say you play him as long as your playing the starting offensive line. The only reason I say this is because you don't want him getting beat up with a second string line that may not be able to protect him as well.
