Pretty much everything I've heard past the benching from our coaching staff both officially and unofficially sounds like damage control and lacks any depth or specificity. If they are as clear with him about his development as they are with the media, then both AR and the Colts are in for a lot of pain ... Has anyone heard ANY of our coaches post-benching say anything that inspires any confidence that they know what they are doing?

Eh, it just seems all over the place. Lots of general talk, no specifics. Not sure we were going to hear any of that anyway, but this was just a lot of nothing.

AD needs to sit and learn behind a veteran in order to be productive. Hope to see Dillon out there taking all the snaps /s -

Yes it seems that way, but compared to the TE group, his pitch count seems excessive. Someone mentioned KC's Hunt success, they USE 3 tight ends, LB's are stressed on what/who to cover, when the RB gets past the first level the yards are there for moving the chains. The Colts need to use all their tools, not just the shiny ones everyone knows to cover. -
Yeah, I don't mean that the Colts don't have concerns internally. Although everything Steichen said could be directly aimed at the tap out... What I mean is that the narrative that's been pushed by people on the Internet for the last week and a half doesn't seem like it's coming from the team, from players, or from reporters. It seems like speculation that caught on because people were trying desperately to make sense of the Colts sudden change in direction.
