Doyle shouldn't even be on this team, much less starting...

Doyle is fine. Runs great routes and is reliable. Reich just doesn't use TEs like some think.

His prefers to use a slot type TE on slants. We saw that with Burton getting so may forced early reads last year, and they tried to draft a similar trait'd guy in Granson.

He'll use them (prototypical TEs) intermediate/deep every once in a while, but not consistently. At least he used them in them in the RZ today.

I hate Doyle. Actually Hate is a strong way to describe it and not very nice, so I take that back.  I have serious hatred for Doyle...

If we would feature Mo in similar ways that other teams feature their stud TEs and not erase him from the game plan for weeks at a time, he would be a Pro Bowler…easily. I hope he is a Colt for a long time. We need to get him an adequate running mate at the TE position next offseason.

Doyle made a very nice catch that pretty much iced the game today.  Both players made plays today.

My friend I just don't like Doyle. Never have. I don't care if he went 8/129/4 today. Still wouldn't be a fan, never will. I never understood the 3 year extension/contract for a career 2 catch or less average per game. Never made sense to me and many have tried to explain but nothing has changed my eyes or mind. I will agree to disagree with many a Doyle fan on here or elsewhere. -Peace

"Throw it to Mo!" is pretty much my go to chant, yell, cry, etc. I was at the game and yelling it like crazy pre-snap on his 2nd TD.

The only other TE as physically imposing as MAC is Gronk. I'm not saying he's Gronk, but he should be used in similar ways... Throw it to Mo!

How were the Dolphins fans?   They sounded none to pleased on the broadcast

They're terrible, let's just say Peyton would have to put a lot of work into whipping them into shape.

When Colts were on defense I started "Let's go Dolphins" chants in order to get the Phins fans chanting and noisy.

So they are typical Miami sports fans lol

Most people in South Florida are fans of other teams, especially with NFL. It's like 20% Dolphins, 80% other teams. It's a weird melting pot. I also heard that Dolphins have the cheapest NFL tickets.

I just wish the Colts had a more consistent TE. Seems like we can go weeks before one of them have a game worth talking about. I would love to have a guy like Kelce or Kittle that show up every week and make plays.

It wouldn't matter if Reich didn't call plays for them.

I'm pretty sure everyone/team would love to have the best TEs in football...

It's a retirement state for sure.

But Miami has a good and long track record of good attendance % even when they are bad.

Their attendance AVG is 100.1% so far.

Ours is 100.3. Both in the top 6

TB on the other hand is 98ish%, and middle of the pack.

Did you watch the game?  They may have sold the tickets,  but they didn't get bought on stubhub.

Grossly underutilised. Sure he might be a 'highlight' player, but generally good things happen when we throw to him.

This is the problem I have with Reich. We have 3, we'll call them "niche" guys in Hines, MAC and Campbell, who aren't traditional starts but do specific things, VERY well. Yet we don't scheme their plays into our offense. It's mind blowing.

Every redzone trip, MAC should have atleast one jump ball target. Every trip. He's such a mismatch that we do not take advantage of enough.

I'm not even sure I'd call them niche players. Maybe Hines a little, but APBs really aren't niche these days.

Mo to me is a prototypical big detached TE. And Reich likes the smaller move slot TEs more (Burton, Granson, type traits.

Campbell is prototypical Z/slot, we just don't throw enough verts or speed routes. I think he'd tear things up if we ran more verts and deep slants.

Why on earth would you not like Doyle and even go as far to say you hate him? That doesn't make any sense. What has he done to deserve that?
