Not sure where I heard it, maybe NFL network, but I think I remember hearing someone speculate that the fins made the Marshall trade to appease Manning, that he had never been a fan of Marshalls...

Wonder if that was really the case??? if so I bet the fins are kicking themselves now...

I wouldn't doubt it but I don't understand why you get rid of your best player, i mean other than the off the field issues, but I see Peyton going somewhere that weapons at his disposal
