This is not a good football team and we should have realized it from the beginning of the season.

Yeah. Because we didn't even attempt to add any talent in free agency. Greg Toler over Brent Grimes and Sean Smith in 13. Patrick Robinson over Casey Hayward this offseason. And so on. 3 words. Incompetent General Manager.

You always talk about free agency but have no clue what goes on in locker rooms. Players have family, loyalty to other teams, better weather, more money, better team, bigger market etc. to think about when making free agency decisions.

If it came out that the Colts just didn't want those players or didn't try hard to get them then it would be on Grigson but we didn't know that. I wanted Prince Amukamara and he is playing pretty well on a super cheap contract in Jacksonville right now.

Brent grimes wanted too much money and sean smith wouldn't fit our scheme

To be fair, all we have to go on is what our front office tells us, which was that we got "our guy" when we signed Robinson.

There's been alot of chances to get starters in FA, Grigson wet the bed almost every time. Yeah I know, Mike Adams.

This offseason that is true. I've not completely lost faith in Robinson but we could have had Amukamara for cheaper and less years.

Yeah I'm not saying it isn't mostly Grigson's fault I'm just saying you never know what free agents he may have wanted that didn't want to come here so he had to move to the next option.

But I agree that Grigson has had many flops and definitely pays too much money for marginal talent.

QBs we've made look like stars:

Brian Hoyer, career journeyman

Nick Foles, journeyman/back up

Brock Osweiler, having a historically bad season

Add bortles to that list and Stafford although he had been solid this year. You give even an avg qb the time we give opponents and let them get comfortable in the pocket we will continue to get lit up.

That's a very bad point of view to have..

It's not that hard to fix..just need:

Pass rushers, LB's, oline help, New coaching, New gm, hit on every draft pick, hit on every fa pickup and a couple more things.

How hard could that be?

I don't think this D could smother a snail

Yeah it's scary to think as guys keep getting hurt and the L's mount up the team will just show up and not compete.

They can't stop anyone.

It is so disheartening. Seems like every week opposing teams go through us like a hot knife through butter

And don't forget, teams like this one usually give you one or two 30-40 point blowouts (the D of course).

Teams are going to pour it on now that there's enough tape to see we can't stop a ball from rolling down the field

Well you realized it. And got a lot of scrutiny for it too. To be honest, I didn't think they would be like an 11-5 team, but I also didn't think they'd be this bad. And it's more than just being 3-5. They just look flat out horrid again and again. And even when they win, it's usually because of an unreal performance by 12. Too many drops. Too many penalties. The O line is way to inexperienced and leaky. The D is baaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

Just a poorly coached, ill prepared, talent less team out there every Sunday.

This. But be careful because you'll get accused of being negative like I do haha

Grimes contract was 4 years 32 million. 16 million guaranteed.

The year he was coming off the injury? I don't know. You may be right, but I thought he signed a 1year deal, then after that year re-signed with Miami for the 4/32?

He's 2-0 in Indy.

I'm not sure why there is supposed to be shame in losing to Nick Foles.

He was very good as recently as 2013.    Then had disappointing years in Philly in '14 and St. Louis in 15

He's now with a very, very good offensive coach in Andy Reid who knows how to get the most out of quarterback play.

I thought many of the pass plays for the Chiefs were great schemes.     A decent QB is going to love playing for Reid.      Folks looked very good against us.....    of course,  lots of QB's look very good against us.
