  1. McDaniels was busted for illegal filming when the coach of Denver. What more evidence does one need about the cheating NE ways and how ingrained they are?
  2. Not sure how? It is a verified twitter account that I cut and pasted. Several journalists are tweeting about it now. Mods can delete if the article tomorrow is just hot air but it would seem from the reports that Bill didn't want to trade JG.
  3. Bruce Allen @bruceallen Source: ESPN readying new hit piece on Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and Robert Kraft set to publish tomorrow morning at 8am. The topic will be a power struggle among the trio as to who deserves the most credit for the dynasty. Bruce Allen @bruceallen 1h The article claims that the rift is so severe many Patriots feel this is the last year together for the trio. Also that Brady went to Kraft to force Belichick to trade Jimmy G. ESPN is planning a full day of promotion tomorrow for the article and its author @SethWickersham
  4. Makes some sense with Manning spending a lot of time learning this year by being around other teams.
  5. This is the season on the line. Argh so like Chuck to be celebrating up 14 and now this...
  6. If we are going to revisit that terrible day, I would add Freeney not being able to play through the pain in the second half and Garcon dropping a possible TD that hit him on the numbers that could have blown the game open. Also, while Manning had some great teams, they had a glaring weakness in that they were "soft" and fell apart in the playoffs vs teams that could run the ball and stop the run. On D they were weak up the middle. The exception being 2006 (and 09). Let's not forget that to get to the Superbowl in 09, Manning had probably his best game as a Colt to beat the Jets led by Mar
  7. I guess my main thought was that Blount is a bruiser and can pick up some tough yards. Therefore, NE could burn some more clock on offense and have the D on the field a little less which would result in a small but potentially measurable improvement. I say this as only an extremely passive observer of the Patriots and I have no idea how the current RB's are doing. However, every time I do look at the Pats I seem to see Brady in shotgun play after play.
  8. Elway will give him a call if Siemian doesn't win a playoff game.
  9. We don't have to play him for another four years. I think it will be great for the NFL if he makes the leap. I am excited to see how he progresses and it appears they have a great coach to guide him.
  10. Did BB get one wrong in letting go of Blount? He had a huge day today.
  11. Pats don't win the SB without Edelman turning the should have been INT into a completion during the game-tying drive.
  12. Oh gosh, you are bringing back the full range of emotions here. Garcon catches that ball then I am convinced the Colts win the game. Oh BTW, awesome read OP.
  13. Absolutely and what is often forgotten is that the Patriots have a genius in the booth that was using the footage. It is a shame teams like Philly, Pittsburgh and the Colts will probably never speak on the extent of what was happening. There are reasons that teams took precautions in NE that they did not have to do elsewhere.
  14. So basically in game real time adjustments? Obviously, spygate was about much more than that...
  15. What did Dungy say in response? The link to Chappel's article does not seem to be working.
  16. Good post. The way they re-tooled with Hogan and White was impressive, however, I would note that their offense looked pretty good with Garappolo and no Gronk early on. As for that pick six - maybe his next pass should have been a pick six too. Somehow it ended up being a completion. The same thing happened to Peyton vs Seattle and was a pick six.
  17. Flip that then. How many Superbowl's does Brady win if BB is kidnapped by Drew Bledsoe way back before it all started and the two are never seen again? They were one of two teams in NFL history to miss the playoffs at 11-5 when Matt Cassell was QB and you could make an argument that NE makes the AFCCG this year with Garropolo at QB.
  18. Can you please cliff notes this? I am guessing he calls out the Pats only having 6 men on the LOS for the game-tying conversion as well as the chop block no call in OT.
  19. Mine started here also when McGinest (and friends) went down with "injuries" so that they could gather themselves for the goal line stand. Of course McGinest made the stop on 4th down and then danced his way to mid-field. Sportsmanship at its worst. Hated them ever since. Cost Indy HFA from memory.
  20. Sure, he has had a bunch of clutch performances but it is also easier to execute in those situations when you are surrounded by quality in every area of your team and coaching staff. Even then, he got away with some pretty bad plays vs Atlanta and should have been down by 11 late in the 4th had they just run the ball. History shows that the Pats win in the playoffs even when Brady has an off day.
  21. Agreed. Some have said NE stole a lot from what Manning did in 2013. If you agree with that, then you could say they have taken the short passing game Manning used to another level. The thing is Manning tossed 55 TD's and set the passing season record with that offense and a noodle arm and now Brady has won two rings with the Patriots version. We have two QB's with amazing football minds (Brady with a little more help than PM) and quick releases taking advantage of the current pass friendly, OL poor environment. Luck hasn't seemed to do this at all so far and goes down field a lot. Imagine the
  22. I'd love to know what Tony Dungy really thinks about Spygate. Clearly he has been instructed to take certain things to his grave.
