Also, weird the Jets game is primetime but not the Broncos???

Late afternoon game. That game will probably be the highest rated non primetime game of the entire year. The old Colts/Pats matchups with Manning and Brady were sometimes CBS games. They can lock in a few hot matchups every season as a part of their TV deal.

It could get much easier than this..just look at PITs schedule last season if you need proof. Bills, Saints, Panthers, Broncos, Pats, Steelers and both Texans games will be legitimate challenges. Dolphins and Falcons wont be easy either. Jags, Titans, Bucs, and Jets should be relatively easy wins, but no wins should be taken for granted in the NFL.

I'd like to see someone do an adjusted strength of schedule. Take the results from the last three seasons, adjust for home and away games, and figure out how much difference that makes from the usual SoS which is just based on last seasons' raw results.

Now that's an intriguing suggestion. Wonder how much better that makes Grigson look? haha ... :)

Very nice schedule with a chance to start 5-0. If Grigson does right in the draft, I see a 12-4 team.

Sucks we get Pittsburgh so late though. Would've loved them early while Bell is suspended. It'll be cold in Pittsburgh that time too

Also lol at getting the Saints in Indy. They were always a soft dome team, but they're even softer without Graham. Lets hope the roof is open for that game

Before draft prediction:

@Buf W

Vs Jets W

@Ten W

Vs Jax W

@Hou L (think we finally lose one game to Texans)

Vs NE L

Vs Saints W (I'm not sure about this. I just feel like Colts won't play well vs Saints but still get W being * off by another loss to NE)

@Car L

Vs Den W

@Atl W

Vs Tampa W

@Pitt L

@Jax W

Vs Houston W

@Mia W

Vs Tenn. W

12-4 season. #2 seed. Home field advantage for playoffs!

Super Bowl!!!

As good a schedule as could be hoped for.    5 prime time games.   The bye in week 10.

Miami in December and not September (hot/humid)  Buffalo in September and not December (cold/windy)  Tampa in November and not September (hot/humid)

That Buffalo opener on the road...expecting a tough game. Bills are one of the better defenses in the league.

Not when ur comes to their pass defense though. Gilmore is alright but they won't be able to cover our receivers. Johnson, Hilton, and Moncrief? I'd we keep Luck clean, there's no way he doesn't pass for 400 yards. Hell, it might not even matter if they do pressure him after what he did to the Giants and Steelers last season.

As long as we have a solid draft this year, and get some pieces that can make an immediate impact I could see this being a very favorable schedule for us. Week 1 vs. Buffalo is a pretty tough game to start the year on. That will definitely be a huge test for our offense right away.

How easy can a schedule get ?

we all know the way it looks now won't be how we see it during the season. I will say first thought with Florida weather in dec and north/east coast early is very nice. There will be adversity and u don't win the SB in October...this is as good as a Colt fan could ask for. I do hope to get home field in the playoffs but nothing is assured except to expect the unexpected.

the Bills have a top 3 defense.  expecting Luck to throw for 400 is ludicrous.  just look what they did to Aaron Rodgers last season:
