I love this move. A potential difference maker in certain situations becomes available and Grigs jumps right on it. Always striving to improve the team.

The guy played his best football under Manuskey in San Diego. He might not have been very productive in Tennessee, but going back to your old coach, a contending team, a familiar defense, as well as having guys who can create pressure up thr guy.

He might still surprise a lot of people.

Could be they're waving the flag for this year and just want to cut cap and get younger.  I'm not sure if he has anything left, you usually don't get faster as you get older.

He was a lot younger in his days with SD but they ran a 3-4 and were one of the best defenses in the league a couple years he was with them.  He was a big part of that D also.

I don't pay THAT much attention to the Titans, but I thought their from 7 was a strong point of the team, and pretty young.

This only helps the pass rush, and will allow us to put in both Newsome and Phillips on obvious passing downs, while having Walden and Werner on running downs.

 

Now if we could just sure up the OL I like this team's chances much better than before. Still worry about playing up in NE though.

I agree. Polian probably would not have picked up Cribbs or Phillips. FA wasn't his thing.
