Laron Landry was Freaking Fantastic Today.

I thought I was the only one who noticed the holding. The refs sure didn't see it.

Saw lots of holding in the 49er/Packer game also. Early season rust maybe....or the NFL needs to replace old, grey haired refs.

They were playing their normal positions. Bethea at FS and Landry at SS.

 

I think the confusion comes from Landry being listed as FS and Bethea SS on the depth chart, which has oddly carried through to the Madden roster.

Colts used to use Bob Sanders as a spy to stop running QBs and it worked. Landry playing FS will be too far away from the LOS to do what Sanders did. Puzzles me as to why Bethea is SS instead of Landry.

For a few plays yeah. I think he made a tackle for a loss on Pryor in the beginning of the game when they tried to run the read option.

 

Whenever Landry was up in the box though they always seemed to just hand it off . I think that they only ran the RO 3-4 times when Landry was in the box. He had a good real game against the run. He had 5 stops in the run game.

There was one scramble Pryor had where he was running and saw Landry, then he just fell to ground lol. I don't blame you bro.

Honestly, I think our entire secondary played quite well minus a few plays.

 

It was just we either A) had no pass rush or B) Pryor extended the play with his feet. Defenders can't cover for 10 seconds. Not happening.

I thought the secondary played solid as well for the most part. Pryor pretty much had to run all over us for a chance to win. That he almost did though unfortunately!

Everyone says toler played well, but pryor had a good throwing day so... Did Vontae not play good or something? (i missed the second half)

it was more against butler on key downs , but pryor was busting coverage by back yard footballing it to get wr open

Pryor was so good at play fake that I thought mcfadden had the ball but he kept it ran all over our d. He even fooled the camera guy as he zoomed to pryor when he realized the rb didn't get handoff.

I think our pass rush played good but pryor was running around so much that he evaded them or simply outran the rush.

Pryor simply caught us with our pants down. Dirty 30 did a great job.  If the Colts get 2 good inside LB's our secondary will look even better.

I will say this, Prior doesn't look like he's going to be able to elude players, he is a smooth customer back there, and has deceptive quickness.

If Connor or Angerer stay at home & make a tackle, and anticipate 1 time  correctly than they are better than Sheppard
