As others have said, he's solid Depth at DE and DT.  Hopefully, he keeps developing and can replace Redding one day.

From the limited time on the field he got last year, I thought he did pretty well as a 3-4 DE.  From what I recall (and I could be making a mistake), he got good penetration

Not saying he couldn't contribute, but he's not going to reach his full potential in a 3-4.

I loved Nevis in our 4-3(Still remember him blowing up a double team and dropping a runner for a loss his rookie year.) He was good when playing last year. Still have hopes for him.

I have suggested several times that he may be good trade bait. He is still in his rookie contract and he has a big upside in a 4/3. 

I like the guy a lot, I just don't think this system is a food fit.

The Colts have simply been cursed with a slew of broke down players the last 20 or so years.        much more than most teams.

This...  Drake is not a traditional 34 E...      He is a classic 43 DT.    

 

 

Who knows?   If Drake is healthy someone would be getting a really good player.    

 

I hope Indy doesn't wind up just giving him away.   In fact a few more LB's and I'd like to see him at NG.

My opinion of course, but I think he is the type of player Grigson likes to sign. He has an amazing motor, never takes a play off, and seems to have a lot of heart. Tell me I am wrong, he has a place in this defense.
