Not trying to tell people they were wrong. I am just saying that the idea that the record didn't matter this year is just not going to be acceptable to a large % of the fanbase...even less so with how it has transpired. Regarding the Bears, I am surprised the Colts are favored in this game. I think the Bears defense is potentially elite. And while their run offense stinks, the Colts can't stop anything in the run game so it doesn't matter. They have enough pass catchers, even without Keenan Allen. Thought the GB game was a trap game, but had hoped the Colts would pull a close win. They did not. But this CHI game has the feels of the "season going off the rails" kind of game.

With all the other teams kickers being nearly "automatic" ...here's an article on raising the crossbar and/or narrow uprights. LOL https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/as-field-goals-become-more-automatic-will-nfl-ever-raise-crossbar-and-or-narrow-uprights

Yeah. It's bad because the linebackers (who were supposed to be our strength) are just not getting it done. Missing tackles and taking weird angles at the ball carriers. It's good in the sense that Nick is at least making the stop and preventing the backs from scoring. Kuddos to Nick for doing his dang job. -

Texas has a great team, I am Huskers fan, have been since 1983. I think we are back finally. It's been a while since the 1994, 1995, 1997 days when we won it all. My 1995 team is the greatest team ever. They had an O.line that is as big as any team today, team speed on Defense that was unreal, and unstoppable running game with a great coach. They beat passing teams easily. Crushed Florida in the 95 Title game (62-20) who ran an all-pro passing offense with tons of weapons and a good QB. Still didn't matter. . Biggest myth was Tommie Frazier was just an average passer, no, he just didn't need too that much because nobody could stop our run. He still made key throws when necessary. My 95 team would do the same thing to recent Alabama teams, they would have no answer for our option and our defense would swarm their QB. Too much speed.
