Playing is what will help AR get better in the pocket and reading Defenses at game speed. He has shown he can get better. They want the franchise guy to improve not Minshew. Now let’s hope the accuracy on out routes improves a lot in a short time.

minshew is very limited no arm strength check down king .   44 passing attempts to get to 237  yards against the ravens .   minshew is fine if you have to win a game with a backup that is his limit .

The guy is a career back up and somehow you think he’s ruining his career by being a backup for Indy?    Minshew’s career is being helped, not hurt, being in Indy.  If he does a good job mentoring AR that reflects well on Minshew.

AR is clearly the better talent but Mustache is a great backup. Not sure what surpass means?

He took over with a 14 point lead against the texans who were BAD at the time and hadn't woken up. 

 

And he beat the Ravens, but we were mostly healthy as a team and our Oline was healthy too. Minshew had time to throw and still was checking down.

 

AR lost by a hair to the Jags in his first NFL game, and then lost to the rams and Aaron donald (who are a good team) by a hair, in his 2nd NFL game... and with key OL members out.

The 2023 Colts season has been dedicated to growing our new franchise QB and putting him in a position to "live long and prosper" in the NFL.

 

They've welcomed back Jonathan Taylor with a new contract - which should make life easier.

 

The offensive line is playing well this season - even when the back-ups have had to play due to injuries.

 

I like the "game plan" they've put in place for AR - and - our team in general.

 

Practice patience grasshopper - the wait will be worth it!!

Minshew and Richardson are very different QBs with very different skillsets. Any comparison made will be wrong because it can't be logically done.
