We have two UDFAs 2nd year players starting if I'm not mistaken. They aren't necessarily rookies and I doubt their ceilings get that much higher.

the throws haven’t been down the field either.  Something I complained about last week.  And honestly the run is working.  Can’t abandon it.  But you also can’t keep throwing it short or soon the run won’t work because the defense will start walking up instead of staying back (as we’re seeing now)

it either forces their special teams to play vs the 1st string offense, or they have to call timeout. Either way you win if you’re trying to run clock
