Can JT reach or eclipse a 1K yard rushing this season?

Right now after the Steelers game, JT has 916 yards.  All he need is 84 yards and I think he'll be able too if Reich feeds him the ball more.

I'm convinced no, but through no fault of his own.  He won't get the chance.

Outside winning the game it should be priority #2. 

 

 

Having your rookie RB have 1000yds and 10+TDs(already does), is a big thing.

 

 

Obviously staying healthy is in there as well, bit it is a must win and feeding him the ball gives us the best chance.

I hope he gets plenty of opportunities to get the 1000 yards. I think it’ll be great for his confidence and is extremely exciting for what the future may bring.

He's going to break one early will get over the mark early second half and we will rest him and rest of the starters for the playoffs later 3rd and 4th.

He should have already. Reich's not allowing the kid to get 20 + carries is becoming criminal. He was our best player on the field and Reich shut him down. Even Hines was ripping off chunks. This kind of stuff loses you games you shouldnt.

I agree, but they scared to run taylor versus 8 in a box. Claiming  they were blitzing. Would be nice if we had another reliable wr.

He better reach it. The Jags run D is still bad. If we want to win, we’ve got to be physical like Green Bay was last night.

I’m really pumped about Taylor’s potential.  This kid with Hines could be the 1-2 punch that is the best in the league.  I see a 1300 yard season in his future.

If Reich actually sticks with the run, and doesn't abandon it, yes. 

 

I've said this countless times, but they need to have less Rivers in the shotgun, and more play action. Also runs to the outside seem to work much better....so maybe try that more?

If Reich gets out of his own way then this should be easily attainable. They need to start running the ball as soon as the game starts out. The very first play called should be a JT run. The Jags can’t defend the run.

He could have had it last night if Reich hadn’t abandoned the running game for no dang reason in the second half

Amen. Frank's thinking is we ran so great the first half were gonna trick and  pass all over them second half. But he forgets to have some balance. Run the rock, run the rock, and bench the other Rock lol.
