Why is Luck not considered top 100?

He’s played less than 50 percent of the Colts games over the last three years.  He didn’t even start throwing the football until roughly August 1st.

Why would it surprise anyone that Luck is not viewed as a top 100?

All it’s going to take us one good season and Luck will be back in select company.

At the moment NFL players and I guess sports writers don't see him as a top 100 player at this time... At this time... I say because not just Luck but, his player and coaches together has to lift him back up to the status he once deserved.  And I believe that will happen.  Lets face it,  it wasn't very hard to game plan for this offense in the past.  But that will change this season and Luck has to capitalize on it and he'll be back up there.

Agreed.  Luck has a lot to prove due to all that you posted above.  This is a big year for him.  He needs to show he has returned to form and can stay healthy all season.

ESPN is becoming irrelevant in the world of sports. They have nothing of importance to add, so they've resorted to producing meaningless click bait articles to get you to visit their site. They probably know less about the Colts than they know about quantum physics. Luck and Hilton probably should have made their silly list, but the opinion of some pathetic little ESPN writer doesn't count for diddly squat in the grand scheme of things.

This is a real thing.

He's not on that list because he didn't play last year. Everyone in the media and players know when Luck is healthy he is actually Top 50.

Isn't Barkley 83 on the list? He hasn't played a down in the NFL period.

There isn't a single Colts player on that list, & I could honestly make an argument for Doyle, TY, Castonzo, & Hooker.

TY, yes. Castonzo, too. Doyle and Hooker, no. At least they would be very poor arguments. 6 good games and then torn ACL just aren't enough. Doyle isn't a big play threat like Gronk, Kelce and Ertz etc. He had lot of catches but medicore YPC and I wouldn't personally put even Jarvis Landry in the top 100, despite him being league leader in catches.

Anyway, I think it's fair to not have Luck in there as he's missed so much time with so many setbacks but he'll get back on the list and high if he'll stay healthy.

When all was said & done last year, Doyle was viewed as a top 5 TE, & considering Deshaun Watson only played 7 games prior to his ACL tear, it seems like 6 games would've been enough to include Hooker.

I'm not concerned about this silly list, but I've always been confused by the criteria used to determine who makes it.

Because Andrew Luck is very unappreciated like Colin says. I 100% agree with him. I know most guys will say, don't read comments or who cares what other people think, however if you do venture off the Colts boards there is a large amount of people who think Luck and the Colts aren't very good. Been that way for years. I mean, it's not just our team that they say that about, but we're often in the talk. We're not a team that's constantly in the spot light which is totally fine in my opinion. But often when we are, there's bad talk about Irsay and how Luck and the team is mediocre. Those comments travel well in my opinion.

I honestly didn't even look at the list but was giving my opinion to why Luck probably isn't on it. I am not even sure anymore what factors go into some of these lists done by ESPN and the NFL Network. Their lists have been so bad they do over the last 5 years, I don't really even pay much attention to them anymore.
