Has anybody noticed we allowed 24 in first two games?

So 24 in two games. 24 divided by 2 is 12. The colts will win 12 games this season and 12 games next season. 12 is also the number of our starting QB. He will miss 2 games this season. 24 plus 2 though is 26. That means Geathers will play this year. You heard it here folks

Colts still can't stop the run.

Pretty disheartening

No excuses either, it was basically the projected opening day starters.  Forget game planning, they were just moving our guys off their marks.  Almost at will.

Made me laugh out loud with that one but then my wife and I fund jokes like SNL's  Jeopardy use of Terd Ferguson to be laugh out loud funny too.

Hey, if I can make one person slightly chuckle then it's all worth it. And Terd Ferguson is funny, it's a funny name.

Our offense is so bad that our defense is taking the hit. At least half of the opponents drives started in decent field position because our offense couldn't get any first downs. Once Luck comes back, it should help our defense at least a little bit. The turnovers are definitely more frequent than last year.

Last year's preseason the scores were 19 to 18 in the first two games. Take 1 from 9 you get 8. Take 1 from 8 you get 7. Luck's record last season- 8 wins 7 losses.

We held teams last year to less points last year. Improvement?

BTW Luck's contract last year guaranteed 87 million

24 versus lions and 24 versus cowboys.

Pure coindicence.     Nothing more.

It's the pre-season and the starters don't play much.

Most of the game is dominated by the 2nd and 3rd and even some 4th string players.

So, giving up 24 points in back to back games is meaningless.

If/when it happens in the regular season,  then you have a talking point to discuss.      But not until then.

Pre-season stats and facts tend to get over analyzed.......

Yea, but guys, this isn't really fair. Our starting QB is injured, so unlike the other teams, we don't get a chance to see how our starting offense can compare against the opposing defense, even if it's just for one possession. We could easily be looking at a 7-pt swing in either or both games if we had Luck.

By some of these post you would think it was regular season.

Everyone knows but when people see something that concerns them they like to discuss it. Like the play of Tolzien and the supposedly strong dline. People also discuss things that excite them like Marlon Mack.

Game 3 is the only week of preseason I take seriously. Tolzien just said in an interview that they didn't game plan at all the first two weeks and just focused on getting better (which is obvious). This is a game planning week. This is the rehearsal. If the defense looks horrible this week than it will be indicative of what we see early.
