MVP so far -- Henry Anderson

As much as I love Henry, I'd have to disagree. My MVP would be split between Vontae/Dwight Lowery. Vontae continues to shutdown a whole side of the field and Lowery saved our season while also playing very solidly in the other games. Anderson/Parry close 2nd and 3rd options though.

Love Vontae but he has not completely shut it down. Although the two TDs he gave up this year was a play he was picked against in the redzone vs NYJ and then an awful no call on OPI against Ten, he still gets penalties, he gave up a crucial third down today by slipping. Gotta go w Anderson here.

No doubt Lowery came up with 2 huge plays last week to help defeat the Titans, I just don't think he has been as consistent as Henry..  Henry has been pushing the pocket in on passing downs and crushing the rushing game of opponents.

Now, I just hope we can figure a way to keep him fresh for 16 games & playoffs -- I think coming in as a rookie DL it is one of the most difficult positions to have the stamina/strength/durability to last a full season coming from the 12 game college schedule.

Marcus Peters has been playing some damn good ball, but yes Henry has been & will be a hell of a player for us for a long time.

I agree I think Peters is playing good ball too. Although, that play he got beat on by Brandon Tate during the Cincy game was ugly. I will give him a little slack though as it was a broken play. I think that Henry has also been playing very well and has to be in the running for DROY.

are you tracking every time Anderson can't get off a block and make the tackle? Or how many times he doesn't get a sack?

I feel davis is judged on a different scale here

Henry Anderson is fantastic.  He brings power, speed, and smarts.  He usually destroys the guy(s) in front of him which isn't always easy for a 3-4 lineman.  I think he is defensive MVP.  He and Parry have been the best thing for this defense.  Hopefully next year lets add a couple of linebackers in their mold.

Not looking forward to his $100 million dollar contract 4 years from now... :)

I don't think you have anything to worry about.

He's not going to be in that neighborhood.

Henry will be very good for the Colts,  but likely not THAT good!

But I'll add this....

If he turns out to be that good,  that's a good thing, and not a bad one!

Anderson for DROY! Yes been very impressive.

It's amazing that our offense has looked so poor so far this season, but at least we are .500 I mean, we haven't played as well as a few that aren't...

What a draft class for Grigs... Parry and Dorsett look like stars in the making as well and Geathers has some major upside if he can get it together in game situations...

yeah Davis is no one is including that Davis has been in a lot of zone which he really does not excel in..in Ot once Manusky went back to man coverage Davis shut down his receiver

Anderson has been balling, he's certainly been outplaying any other Colt defensive player, he's just beating Parry and then Langford.

I think he's certainly in the mix for DROY this year so far. Although Marcus Peters is having an excellent year so far as well. Lets not make room in the trophy case just yet.

The Arthur Jones injury has been a gift and a curse. With the playing time and game experience Anderson is getting i think he is growing more and more comfortable and confident in this scheme and his playing abilities. He looks so dominant and stout on the defensive line. It looks like injury ridden Jones whom i do love his playing ability when healthy may be out the door with the emergence of Anderson. Unless the Colts have faith in him and give him another chance. Im not writing him off completely but with the excellent play of Langford, Parry and Anderson where will that leave Jones?
