DT or FITZ

Recommended Posts

DT will be a free agent and with the broncos looking like their in limbo after their butt whooping perhaps he'll leave denver and fitz might be on his way out of arizona. are either wr a legitimate chance to dawn the horseshoe or should we be focusing our attention elsewhere

They're both fantastic,  but I don't think either is realistic.

TYH is likely going to get a contract worth $8-9 Mill per year.

Thomas is going to want money like that or more.    Fitzgerald is already in talks to stay with Arizona.   And if he leaves,  he'll be offered decent money by most everyone.    Probably more than we can or want to pay.

So,  I think we look elsewhere.    And if he continues to play well,  and doesn't want too much money,  the player we may sign is.....     Hakeem Nicks.

Fitz is getting a little old for the NFL. I'd be fine with Thomas. I think we need that big 6'3 fast, strong, athletic, deep threat, jump ball type beast to go with Moncrief and TY.  With all that said I want us to take Green Beckham in the 2nd round instead of signing anyone to a big contract because he's exactly what I want us to have, an AJ Green or Megatron type superstar. Don't get me wrong I believe Moncrief will be that type of wide out next season but more is always better.

My FA WR on a one-year, prove-it contract (Grigson signs one every year) is Leonard Hankerson from the Redskins.  I loved him coming out of college, and he had productive 2nd and 3rd years with the Redskins.  Then, he tore his MCL, ended up on the NFI or PUP list, got activated mid-season 2014, and amassed no stats.  Worth a shot as a good route runner with good physical skills.

Eh, I would probably just bring back Nicks, and roll with Moncrief, Hilton, Nicks, Fleener, and Allen as our targets for Luck. If Wayne wants to come back we can sign him too. Maybe sign a cheap depth wide out or draft one in the later rounds as well.

I like this Idea!! As long as Nicks dont want a whole bunch of money. I really think he could produce big time for us. And the draft looks like its gonna be deep at WR. So we could probably find a decent guy in the 4th or 5th round as insurance.

I remember when he came out most on this board liked him and wanted him as the successor to Wayne. I really wanted this guy. Bring him in

At this rate, Hilton's looking at $10+.  Easy.
