what did you all think about the new O-line today ? Shipley at center and Holmes at right guard which was kind of surprising.

I thought they were solid. Cleveland was basically sending the house. Seemed kind iffy at first, but that's because the receivers weren't winning their battles at the l.o.s.

Awful as usual. Luck did have a few times where he got a lot of time and didn't seem to know what to do with it, but for the most part was a sieve.

 

Of course, Cleveland was bringing the house on nearly every snap so who knows? Give it another week.

#FreeHolmes...sucks it took injury but it was a welcoming sight to see him come in and play well for his first extended playing time. Hope it continues the rest of the year.

Thornton should not come back and get his spot back. And with Reitz and Nixon out, Let it be the Holmes show at RG for now on

With all the injuries to this O-line, Im surprise we still winning games. The new O-line is okay but Luck needs to scramble out of the pocket a lot...pretty much the same as all season long. But did see some series where Luck had all day to throw.

Disagree...to an extent anyway. They may not have gotten much push bur they were creating running lanes. Both backs ran well in the 2nd half and should have had more carries imo.

I didn't get to see the first half. Did harrison get benched or hurt?

hes a leader. Thats why. How are they having a rookie with no experience just take over a bad oline?! Center is a very important position and Harrison should just be watching for the next year or two...

 

This team is ready to blossom but having rookies take over a key position is not helpful at the point..

They pretty much only played together in the fourth.. That sack on the last drive was on Boom Herron. Luck had most of his big plays when those two were playing together..

Pass protection wasn't flawless after those 2 came in, but the pressure didn't come from the guys they were blocking.  Holmes looks huge too!  Rest of the year should be him at RG and Shipley at center, but I know better than to expect that to happen.  Whoever makes the oline decisions for this team needs to be sacked.

Ready to blossom? Neither the O-line or the D- line is very good. The Colts will not be a super bowl contender till both lines are made better. Luck as normal gets hit way too much and only his ability and strength makes him able to compete.

O line got somewhat better when holmes came in at guard. Let's keep him there. And if you go back and look, both times late in the 4th that luck was sacked, Doyle was playing left tackle. What the heck is with that

Coaching staff will never say it publicly, if harrisson practices next week and Shipley still gets the nod, then he was benched

Receivers had trouble getting open and catching the ball too. Felt bad for Luck many times today.

Even earlier in the year, our run Game was better with AQ than Harrison.
