Ugly rumor: There's a game tonight

AP claims anonymous sources have told them that there is a real NFL game between two NFL teams tonight. I don't have a link, it's probably bogus, but can you imagine? Would the NFL actually let a game be played? I want to know when Roger Goodell really knew about this so-called game, and why he didn't take a firm stand on this issue in the first place.

But really, Ravens and Steelers play tonight. Last time they played each other in primetime, Mike Tomlin tried to karate sweep Jacoby Jones on a kick return. This is what Terrell Suggs had to say about it:

How many separate instances? Or how many times will they say his name? Or just refer to him? 

 

I think he's going to be the story all game, talking about his absense on the field, and the story itself.

It's not even about Ray Rice anymore. That's why I'm so over it.

I gotta say, even though Nantz and Sims are not exactly my favorite broadcasting duo, it was a dramatic improvement over the usual "TNF" booth crew that NFLN would trot out every week. It felt like I was actually watching an NFL game.

It's forthat reason alone that I watched the game on my computer with it muted.  Was a decent game, but Steelers just got shut down starting with their last drive in the 3rd.  Offense couldn't convert and defense couldn't get a stop.  Shazier just looks like a mad man out there, though.  Steelers have to really be impressed with that kid.
