Why Did Peyton throw the pick to Tracy Porter in the Super Bowl.....

Everyone knows why he threw that pick. Peyton wanted the kids of Africa to wear some decent clothing for once. I mean, would an Ethiopian rather have a Saints T-shirt or a Colts T-shirt? Exactly. That's not even mentioning the atrocious Patriots t-shirts they received the year before. Man, Peyton is the most selfless and giving person I know.

Saints t-shirts were probably black & gold too, right?  Colts colors are much better to wear in the hot sun.

 

But seriously, in Manning's last year with us he had a 3-week stretch where he threw 11 interceptions.  Sure, he only threw 6 in the other 13 games, but let's not act like the guy was infallible.

All of you can fight over his permanent nick name. However for 1 game of his career I get to pick. For that 1 game you all have to call him Bob. That game will be Denver in our house. The opening song that night will be none other then......................................Bob.

      I’ll take heat for this and I honestly don’t care.  I’m nowhere near sold on Stroud.  He barely it 4k yards and his TD to INT ratio was stellar but they played absolutely no one!! They lost to the panthers.  They had one of the easiest schedules and finished 9-8.  For Christ sake we beat them once and very nearly beat them a second time with a back up.. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ #NotTop5.

      This is probably one of the best things for this kid.  Pitt is a great dude.  Has a level head on his shoulders which, allegedly Mitchell does not and was why he fell.  I haven’t been more excited for a trio of wide receivers since Wayne/garcon/collie!!

      This may be going a little off topic and is going to be a Gus Bradley/Chris Ballard/defensive staff rant… why the * is Cross the FS…. I know last year they didn’t trust him so they had to start Thomas and Blackmon who are both natural FS so they moved Blackmon to SS.     Now though why not let each guy play his natural position.. this staff constantly outthinks themselves and is infuriating…

      It may be too soon to know for sure…. But I think Kelly’s replacement is Bortolini in 25.   I think Goncalves is the potential replacement for Fries and can fill in elsewhere in a pinch.   And my pure guess is that next April the Colts draft a RT and he is a backup for one year before taking over for Smith in 26.   Again, only a hunch.
