Think was Rick Demuling we lo\st to free agency , believe a guard , went to lions, later released

Anyway the point is after being released he said the only reason the Lions thought he was that good was because peyton made all on the line seem much better than they really were

Breaking News: Colts Ex-Head Coach Jim Caldwell not paid to under perform or be a terrible coach during his tenure with Indianapolis! This was his normal "MO" after days of investigation.

No but seriously...this is wrong for sure! All I can say is JEFF FISHER is probably hating life also right now...given the story I would imagine some of those players on the Rams are going to have a hard time "admiring" their defensive coach. That's certainly another brick to lay for Fisher....

I understand why they did it so that their defense would play hard, but to hurt players intentionally, and you already get paid enough as it is. I can understand colleges doing this sort of thing like Miami when they did it in the 80s but the NFL and they already get paid. This is sad and I hope the NFL brings the hammer down

• Fine him upwards of $500,000
  
• Make the Saints forfeit this years second and next years first round draft choices.
  
• Fine the Saints a significant amount as well. ($250,000- $300,000)

One of NFL histories most notorious no-calls. How in the heck does that not get called? Back then, an inadvertent finger swipe across a QB's helmet would get a 15 yard penalty (since changed).

This is where Peyton's neck injury is assumed to have started. This story could develop VERY quickly, and in a VERY large way. Look for Williams to resign soon. And look for the Colts to be compensated with some kind of draft pics from the Redskins; if not this year, definitely next year.

I would think that the fines are going to be higher than that. BB got a $500,000 fine for spygate, this is worse IMO. The GM and coach will also get hit with larger fines.

That tickes me off even more now that the hit Peyton took from Washington may have been a bounty placed by Greg Williams. I mean playing hard and to the whistle and getting a good clean hit on someone is fine. But intentionally trying, and getting paid, for taking out players......

Isn't that also some kind of an infringement on the Salary Cap? Paying people undocumented moneys on game day performance (unnecessarily rough hits).

They need to compile a list of players that got injured, figure what their various salaries were for the games they had missed (Players still got their money but the respective franchises had to pay them to sit), and then fine Williams that amount.

It will never happen...then any team that ever had a player injured playing against a team that had him on his staff will come forward and demand draft picks...the NFL will handle it, punish him and take draft picks, and that will be the end of it.
