2022 Game#9: Colts @ Patriots, November 6, ,2022, 1PM ET

Today, your Indianapolis Colts (3-4-1) play the Patriots (4-4) in Foxboro, Mass.

 

 

Sam Ehlinger will start his second game after replacing Matt Ryan. He played pretty well in his debut last week, which has some fans feeling hopeful. However for this game, the Colts will play without Jonathan Taylor (injury).   They also will not have Nyheim Hines, as he was sent to the Bills via trade before the trade deadline earlier this week. Who will be the Colts starting RB? 

 

Ruled OUT for the Colts:

CB Tony Brown - Hamstring 

QB Matt Ryan - Right Shoulder 

LB Grant Stuard - Pectoral 

RB Jonathan Taylor - Ankle

 

OUT for the Pats:

C David Andrews - Concussion 

OT Marcus Cannon - Concussion 

WR DeVante Parker - Knee

No Taylor but I think Deon Jackson can carry the load. He has looked pretty good. As long as Sam doesn't turn the ball over we can win a close one. Colts 19 Pats 17. Chase with 4 FG's.

We still didn’t score points but hopefully that will come.  It was just one game.

Pats offensive line are down 2 maybe 3 starters. I think both in the middle. I’m expecting a big day from Buckner and Grove. Maybe even Kwity/Yannick getting some 1 on 1 opps.

Im rooting for Kwity to have a big day. His family are PATS fans , he grew up a Pats fan. This is his first game at "home" . He said he got them seats behind the Colts' team bench and if they dont get loud then get them outta there !!!! lol . He also mentioned kicking some PAT * in his presser.

Just keep the offense balanced and don't drop Ehlinger in too many third and longs and we should be ok.  Colts defense should enable the win here.  Patience, field position, and trust the kid QB when you need to.
