Our offensive Guru head coach cannot get his offense to start a game , start a season, and continues to abandon what works.  This is now half a decade of finding new scapegoats and then reloading and producing the same results. Here’s hoping for yet another 2nd half comeback.

The NFL must be in really sad shape if Ballard is one of the "top" GMs, Reich is worthy of being a head coach, and Ryan is worthy of being a starting QB. Many, many changes are needed to this Colts team, starting with Ballard and Reich! How are they ever to know what they have in Sam Ellenger if they never play him in an actual game? Particularly when your "starter" can't get out of his own way and apparently has trouble distinguishing between his teammates and his opponents when it comes to throwing passes.

This may be as good as it gets for the Colts.

- The inability to handle/make teams pay for blitzing continues to be the Achilles heel.  Neither JT or Hines acquitted themselves well in the 1st half in terms of blocking the free rusher.  At least 3 drives just blown up because of this in the 1st half.

- Bringing Matt Ryan in here was mistake.  Starting to wonder if he is "seeing ghosts" (to borrow a line from movie Any Given Sunday and Sam Darnold) back there when he is dropping back and as a result he is worrying about getting rid of the ball instead of sitting back and reading the defense.  You can tell that he is not comfortable sitting in the pocket and with his age and skillset, that is a major problem that is going hinder him and the passing offense from doing anything.

- Why are we refusing to attack down the field? I get it if its a 3rd and long because defenses pass rush continue to have their way with us, but why not try to take some shots on 1st down.  This is completely on Frank Reich.  He has been around the NFL long enough to understand that you are not beating anyone with YPA of 5.2 in today's league.

- Can't really complain about the defense in the first half.  Allowing 6 points in a half is excellent and they have given the offense plenty of opportunities to stay in it.  My worry is them getting worn down at the end because of lack of support on the other side of the ball.

If the refs call the facemask on Taylor then not int and this game is very different

It was Hines, he goes down easily, that’s a big part of selling the face mask call. That worked against him, IMO. He should only be slot WR moving forward. Henry doesn’t go down easily and that helped sell the call when you are not in slow motion.

Our coaches - lets not play Leonard and let JT sit eventhough it is the biggest game of the year. Leonard was cleared by doctors to play by the way.

Defense is doing its job even without Leonard. JT being out - head scratcher. Ryan needs to look in. Plenty of time left. We got this.
