2023 Season, 17th game, Saturday, Jan. 6th, 2024
rjbalchusa replied to NFLfan's topic in Colts Game Day
Yeah, that makes sense. 4th and 1 so you take your best player out of the game and have your backup QB throw a pass to a 3rd maybe 4th RB! That worked out well didn't it. -

1) Once again a Gus Bradley defense can't stop their grandmothers. 2) #39 needs to be gone next year. He is a constant liability on defense. 3) With the predictability of Steichen's play calling I don't believe the Colts will come back in this game. -

Does anyone understand why the Colts are paying Gay so much money to kick? I've seen him miss several fie;d goals that should have been easily made. Unlike Vinateri (sp?) this guy is not "money". -
Several have mentioned that a 9 win season is pretty good for a team coming from where we were last year. Some of us, myself included, tend to forget that simple fact. So before I go back to my normal complaining and accusing, I want to extend "kudos" to the Colts players, coaches, and staff. Keep moving forward.

2023 Game #16: Raiders @ Colts, Sunday, Dec. 31st, 1PM EST

Game was much closer than it needed to be. I don't think Bradley's defense contested a pass (except for Adam's TD) during the Raider's last drive. -

How badly does #10 need to play before they give #4 a chance? #4 is more mobile and couldn' t do any worse. -

It appears that no one has ever taught #40 of the Colts to wrap up the person they are trying to "tackle". He seems to think he can just knock people down by hitting them with a shoulder. It worked against that tight end, but it will "bite" him when his opponent keeps his feet while #40 is laying on the ground watching. Poor, poor tackling technique. -

This defense makes their opponents look like "all pros". -

Hey Gus, run that defense more often. -

Again, typical Bradley defense. It seems like no one on the Colts D wants to tackle. Get rid of Bradley and get some players who will actually tackle instead of complain about their playing time. -
2023 Week#8 Saints @ Colts, Sunday, October 28, 2023, 1PM ET

After #38 is fined for incurring a stupid penalty he should be given his walking papers to wherever he wants to go. He doesn't belong in the NFL. -

2023: Week#7 Browns at Colts, October 22, 2023, 1:00PM
rjbalchusa replied to NFLfan's topic in Colts Game Day
There is apparently no such thing as an "uncatchable ball" in the NFL. They should remove reference to such in the rule on PI. Also, they should start dressing the refs in Browns colors just to make their position clear. -

How many times do we have to see this before Minshew sits? -

Time to go. Maybe I'll shop for another team. This one has quit. -

This is ridiculous! Are we back to blaming coaching again? This fiasco makes me understand why people were so happy that Gus Bradley stayed around (sarcasm intended). Are there NO defensive coaches left in the NFL? -

Wide open receivers....as usual. Colts DBs do not cover. -

I said the Colts D was soft. They would have to "toughen up" to achieve that. Are these players going to accept their paychecks for this game? The D backs are barely in the same stadium as the Jags. -

Minshew seems to think he's still playing for the Jags. That would explain why he seems to want to throw the ball to a player in a Jag's uni. -

Good win for the Colts! JT who? Moss is a horse; glad he's on the Colts. AR is going to have a very short career if he doesn't start protecting himself better.
