NFL Schedule

The schedule will be released tomorrow by 8 pm EST. Any final guesses for the season opener and number of prime time games?

 

Heres the schedule

 

Texans 2x

Jags 2x

Titans 2x

Steelers

Dolphins

Raiders

Chiefs

Broncos

Chargers

Saints

Panthers

Bucs

Falcons

 

I will say we open up vs the panthers and we get four prime time games

 

Sunday night vs the texans and Chiefs

 

Monday night vs the saints

 

Thursday night vs the Steelers

I entered a contest to guess the opener, and I think I guessed Carolina also.

 

I can definitely see the Texans game getting a SNF slot. Colts versus Chiefs is also a gimme.

So we will get that plus 3 more Primetimes. I say 2 SNF vs Saints and Chiefs and 1 MNF vs HOU

That stinks!!! I'd rather play at a division rival for a 2nd game against them on the road on TNF if they had to give us a road game. 

 

Short week, road defense does not have the legs to go the distance typically, and against a high powered offense that can wear you down, not a good recipe.

SNF game vs Steelers, I am guessing. Monday night at Chiefs.

 

That is all I am going with - 3 prime time games including the TNF leak we had.

If the link below is true, then by process of elimination, the Colts either host the Falcons week 1 or play at the Chargers for a 4:05pm game.  FOX has the doubleheader game at 4:25pm.  Unless they flex Colts at Chargers to FOX for the other 4:25pm game.

No more “winning because of a soft schedule” posts. I’m excited. It’s always better to start tough, imo. Even good teams can stink it up during September.

If a "lack of home field advantage" causes us to go 0-2 early, that's on us. We shouldn't have any wear and tear due to travel and should be close to 100%. We'll start out 1-1 IMO and go from there.

The end of that schedule looks very good where weather won’t be a issue. I like the KC game where it is because the weather won’t be a issue that early.

id say the schedule was moderate last year.  we played and lost to both previous super bowl teams, plus the division was decent and we split with two of them.   we also played some of the worst teams in the league
