Maybe the Chargers should rest their starters.

Judging by the score 35-7 I think they are resting their starters!!

Chargers have some good players ... talk about getting out outcoached ... I wonder if Lynn will take the majority of the blame for this debacle.

35-7 now with 1:43 left in the first half. Hoody, put in your third stringers  for the 2nd half.

You really are a Pats fan, posing as a Colts fan, aren't you?

Looking forward to their fall in KC.  :)

Not yet, not this year. KC is good but they are not NE. ASAP is NE's motto "any squad any place". Not that I won't be pulling for KC

ASAP was Chargers motto ... NE doesn't live up to that motto they play worse away from Gillette (especially without that first round bye).

I'm afraid we are headed for the worst possible Super Bowl matchup of pats and saints. BARF

At least the saints are familiar with playing in Atlanta ... And it's indoors?.. I'm just grabbing at anything:thinking:

Nah.   NE  has to travel to KC.   KC has an extra day to rest on top of not having to travel.  I would not be so quick to count KC out.

Tom Brady is the GOAT if he wins his 6th Super Bowl this year.

Will never see anyone dominate like him again.

KC has no shot. None. Take it to the bank.

I also think KCs pass rush can disrupt the golden boy.

no way.. that offensive line is like the great wall of china. plus brady throws plenty of 3 yard quick passes. to his unbelievably slippery wr's and rb's. KC's defense will be the demise of them. Pat Mahomes is gonna have to throw for a record next week. Because they wont stop the pats..

Oh yeah, Coach and QB always get most of the blame. Their fanbase is ready to pounce haha . They are playing much worse then we did.

But you made a thread saying KC was our new rival and NE wasn't anymore... because of one game?  Make up your mind.

And ASAP is the motto for the Chargers because they had such a good record on the road this year...

You're all sorts of mixed up today!

It’s a shame, the Ravens would have matched up better than the Chargers in the cold of NE. Harbaugh and Marty got outcoached badly, and the rest is history. At least Marty is gone, but LA is biting the dust in the cold.

Well I think it is safe to say the Colts would have gotten destroyed today.  The Pats came to play.  I'm actually glad we played and got beat pretty soundly by KC compared to what might have happened here.

How do the Pats do it every year?  Crazy.  The Chargers are a good team being made to look like a bad college team.

I wish we could have faced this Chargers team yesterday.

Yeah this may have been real ugly had we played these guys. There are 4 Elite teams IMO = Pats, Chiefs, Saints, and Rams. Colts may be the 5th best team in the league but we can't beat that Top 4 as of now. After the Draft and Free Agency maybe I will change my mind.

Been I think 14 years since they've been to a Super Bowl when they don't play at Gillette in the AFC title game.

I really don't like Pat Mahomes, he just rubs me the wrong way... Go Rams!

He reminds me a little of Russell Wilson. Talented young QB. I don't know how far his sidearm passes are going to take him in the NFL.

Wilson is cool to me, maybe it's because Seahawks fans don't treat him like he's god or something...

Can anyone explain why the game clock kept running after the chargers player caught the ball at the one and went out?

    • Seems odd in general that it took so long.  Outside of the guy in SD, we rarely hear why someone holds out this long on a mundane contract with so little to quibble over.
    • One thing I’ll say about Bob though, his small size & Wolverine (comic book character) mentality made him a terror against the run.  With him already being short, when he went submarine on a RB, they really risked their careers if their feet were planted when the Colonel was coming for them.  He turned so many guys into tip toe bandits or sent them helicoptering into the air.  No wonder our run defense was so stout.  Usually only took 1 “meeting” with Bob in the hole, to put fear in the RB’s head the rest of the game...  You had to know where he was at all times or kiss your knees goodbye.
    • I have to disagree with the last sentence. I think Sean Taylor (The former Hurricane & Redskin safety) was and would have statistically been better than all 3 had he not been murdered.  That dude was what you’d get if you created a cyborg safety. Big. Fast. Physical. And immaculate receiver level ball skills...  I still love the other 3, especially the Colonel, but Taylor was on another level.  A combination of all 3.
    • This is a big compliment for KM.
    • No, if he wants to go be a gm somewhere who are we to hold him back from that.
