The Nelson and Smith pick becomes that much more important. To be honest, I dont believe that he has knee issues. I personally think he's soft tbh.

Personally, I think you're crazy. Doesn't make me right.

He's far from soft. Dude played thru multiple knee injuries, well documented one. Moncreif was soft, Mewhort is not and was not.

As someone with chronic knee problems, I can attest how painful they are. Dude was diagnosed by one of the top orthopedic knee specialists in the country with having degenerative knee syndrome. There's no healing from that. Was only a matter of time.

Huh?

Why would you think that?

Ballard didn’t think so....   he re-signed Mewhort.   He wouldn’t have done that if he thought Mewhort was soft.

This post is a giant head scratcher....

...... I don’t think wanting to be able to walk from Age 26 to whenever you leave this earth is considered soft but okay

Knee problems are no joke. Knee problems for guys 300lbs+ are probably no joke either

No kidding.  My knees are trashed (facing surgery next month) and things that used to be every day task like taking two steps down off my porch are something I try to avoid these days.  I can't imagine being his size and having the same issues, his are probably worse.

No you are right PT, we are NOT all the same.  Clearly, many people need things explained in great detail.  I will leave it there.

I guess that is the problem with us geezers.

Boy, I'll tell you - these kids today.

Hey, I'm a 40-60 year old. What does that have to do with....

"Get off my lawn!" lol....(stands for laughing out loud)

In all seriousness, I expected this. When he considered this least season, I was surprised he tried to come back. Good luck Jack, you were a warrior. Hold your head proud.

I thought it was a strong possibility.  I think he actually hinted at it after last season. He gave it his best shot I'm sure.  When healthy he was solid player, no pushover.  Best of luck to him and thank you for giving your all.

I'll be the lone wolf and say he's soft then. I don't mind.

So you are aware... I don't like you.  I have avoided you until now, but you quoted me so I will respond.  Not sure how old you are, but if I remember right I want to say late 30's early 40's which makes me older than you. I wasn't trying to raise any hairs or ruffle feathers.  I was merely saying that I took his comment as he intended.  Maybe he could have added a few words, but whatever.  I wasn't trying to say anything to you or anyone else- just that I understood.

MarquisJ, being young doesn't mean you have to be *.

Didn’t mean to offend anyone just don’t like when i’m being belittled or when other users on here are condescending. I do apologize to anyone who’s feelings were hurt meant no harm.

I simply asked why it was funny and then you went off the rails with the "i don't answer to you" nonsense.

Yet you use a laughing smiley to a post that calls JM soft?

though i don’t answer to you but i’ll go ahead and scratch your itch...  millennials use “lol” for more than its literal meaning in this case it was more of a “of course” or a salty feeling

Just because someone asks a question does not mean they expect you to "answer to them".

I can see why the term * is used to describe your age group.
