Colts @ Bills Game Day Thread

Recommended Posts

Greetings, Colts Nation!  :) .  A game and battle of two teams playing out their 2017 NFL season at Western New York State, as our 3-9 Indianapolis Colts, are in Orchard Park, southeast of Buffalo, to play the Bills, in today's 69th all-time meeting.

Colts seek to win their first regular season road game at Buffalo in 14 years.  Edgerrin James scored his 1-yard touchdown run, followed by Peyton Manning's two-point pass play conversion to James Mungro, with 1:38 left in the fourth quarter, helped the Colts recent win at Buffalo by the score of 17-14 at then-named Ralph Wilson Stadium, back on November 23, 2003.

Buffalo also defeated Indianapolis in both teams recent meeting also played at Orchard Park more than two years ago, with the Bills prevailing 27-14, back on opening week of the regular season on September 13, 2015.

Bills though leads the all-time regular season series with  36 wins, 31 losses, and 1 tie, the tie occuring on both teams first meeting after the AFL-NFL merger, the score 17-178, and played at Baltimore Memorial Stadium back on November 15, 1970.

Regional outside elements, especially the gusty eastern arctic winds from Lake Erie, may definitely have an impact on both teams performance and results on the playing field, as the cloudy skies and snow is the game forecast inside New Era Field in Orchard Park, New York, for the 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with 75% precipitation, 63% humidity, and west/northwest winds at 18 miles per hour.

NO injuries, Continue To Play With Pride And Colts Strong Remaining in Your 2017 NFL Season Starting This Afternoon, and GO COLTS!!!!!    :coltslogo:  :1colts:    :colts:   :coltslogo:

With Peterman starting, I'm worried the Colts may win this game. I want the Colts to stay where they are in the draft order.

I doubt we win, Buff needs this game to stay in the Playoff hunt and the weather looks to be brutal.

Those white road uniforms should be invisible today.  Really wish the Colts would do something different with those road uni's for a change.

Perfect way to disguise our play-calling.

This is going to be a fun game to watch.Wish I'd have sat Hilton on my FF team, though.

Yea I need McCoy to have a big game and I’m not sure it’ll happen. He will get the ball a lot just not sure it’ll matter

This may be the best game for the Oline.  They won’t give up sack because we won’t throw the ball all game.

    • How long did Luck play with TY. You can’t compare all those years together with Luck.
    • For me the jury is still out. With all the injuries for me I can’t make a judgement yet.  What I want to see is upgrading the Receiving group and see what he does in the offseason and give him a chance for another year. Unless your a very elite QB most QB are going to struggle with Rogers and pascal as your one and two.  I want to see if going into next season as the man and with no drama what happens.  Campbell had a TD earlier in the season where he threw it to the spot.  Being the guy he can go into the offseason and work with his WR on their own time like Luck did. Can another offseason and working with them and a WR coach help with timing and anticipation. I don’t know the answers to that but am willing to give him next season to see before making a rash judgement.
    • If the talent gap is so huge, you can understand then why many want someone closer to the level of Luck.    BTW, TY missed 2.5 games with Luck, and was hobbled for several other games (with low snap counts). TY missing time with JB is something that Luck experienced as well. Luck also spent a third of his season with musical chairs in the OL and without Mack. X WR was also a revolving door of Grant - Inman - Pascal. Luck was also without Doyle, and only real option was Ebron. Let's not act like Luck had more weapons.
    • "Seriously people get over your hatred for Ck.  This is Riecks protege.  He would not be on the team if coach didn't think he had a chance to be good."   I don't hate him, I just don't see where all the love comes from. He's done nothing in the NFL except throw some passes in meaningless pre season games. I'm guessing if he was a great as you think he is he'd be starting. I can't image Frank and Chris would let a super bowl caliber QB languish on the PS where he could be poached by some QB hungry team.  I hope he gets a good look in the off season, but I'm not expecting much.
